Salmon Creek? Anyone?

I was aware that GDP was Big Bud x Erckle, but I was told that more specifically, it is Salmon Creek Big Bud x Erckle.
If SCBB, BB not related, what is SCBB?

Anybody?

The Salmon Creek Big Bud was a particularly excellent example of Sensi Seeds Big Bud (circa '95). Brought back to California & saved by a Humboldt dread cannabis activist named Chris G (RIP), out of Salmon Creek north of Garberville in Humboldt county. There's no doubt about this.

Grizzer, personally I would expect better things from the NL cross.

I had collected some seeds I labeled Salmon Creek on the vial in 1978, no Big Bud in the name though. I guess they were just good seeds from a friend in Salmon Creek.

Thanks my friend. I think you are the source of several Salmon Creek crosses I recieved reciently.

Neptune,

I was interested in it cause I heard it crossed well with most strains and is great for bumping up the quanity at harvest without loosing quality. I have 4 different purp strains each crossed with SC. Some great weed.

Nice plants bro, notice the GH hydro formula in the back. I would highly recommend moving to another brand personally. It works, but Ive found the quality of the herb to slip a bit with it compared to other resources available.

I beg to differ on that opinion. My GDP from clone was a bit too strong. It ruined many a day. Total couch lock pain med. One hit in the morning and your day is done. You arent going anywhere.

I agree, IMO, This one DR.Purpur has is THE ONE! There are others out there in the bay area that aren't this one.. They actually are pretty weak meds.. BUt the one shown here HUGE YIELDER, Nice frosty purple budz is the a knock out of a high.. NOt many people have the actual Urkle x SCBB cut.

Just my two cents..

Nice Flowers everyone.. I've been Loving all Salmon Creek cut's grown here..

Amazing yield Neptune! Props!

hi,
there was a nice cut of mendo purp x scbb floating around a bit a few years ago. it was called upgrade. not bad but i liked the scbb better as smoke. more about my tastes than the lack of quality of upgrade clone. both kicked ass.

i ran scbb first time in maybe 97-98. the whole hill was running it and i picked up a few trays to go along with a mitey mite run i had about to go off. ran her for years after that. she was just a beast indoor and out. made everyone who touched her look smart lol
i lost my last copy in a armed robbery at the mom house in 2003. havent seen the real deal since.

chris distributed the cut pretty heavily and i gave a grip of them away myself but the purp explosion killed off many of the green elites in our region.

any body still running the cut?
best,
30y
