Sacramento clones

like trybud said, try google maps and google earth; even though i'm personally not a fan of people going and guerilla growing on other people's property or public land.

community garden would probably never work unless it's out in the middle of nowhere and has security like a mofo. that shit would get ripped off real quick without necessary precautions. caregivers can do it on their own property though.

growing space can be dealt with - look at how clever some of these growers get when they use a PC tower as their space...

knowledge...read up my friend. buy a grow book and use the "search" function as much as possible whenever possible. reading will help, but experience is the real educator here.

Jeff its probably best not to start a guerrilla grow right now. The site should have been scouted and plants should have already been outside now for about a month. I'm not saying don't try it, but let this season just be a test. And look for a good site for next year.

SB 420 and the AG's guidelines both specifically allow for the collective cultivation of our medicine.

As for guerilla sites, think outside the box. Think multiple sites and expect to lose 3/4's of them. But as mentioned it's kinda late for that kinda project, doesn't mean it can't be done, but your results will be be deceptive w/o the extra time invested in prepping the plots.

Ok my question for this is... It can be done right? So what if a few of us used space in our veg rooms and veg out plants for a outdoor season??? sneak the girls on the plot at night...

that would work, but they arn't hardened. Maybe if u had extra space to put them, away from the rest of your plants, then yea it could work. But plants have to spend sometime under the sun to be able to take it. Harden them girl then through them outside.

for guerilla, it's probably too late like everyone's already stated. this is because of a few things from what i know about it: you really NEED to plan things out well in advance to scout several locations(which are probably already gone). in our area, they'll really need some type of water source because it's so damn hot. putting plants out earlier in the year not only helps to get bigger plant in the end, but it also gets some of the nice spring rains (well...not this year) as well as gets the roots to spread and find the in-ground moisture that it will need when it gets hot and dry unless you're out there carrying water to them. another thing is if you want good results, you'll need to dig holes and amend them properly...which usually takes time for the soil to "age/break down" so it won't cook the plant going into it - that pretty much goes for any plant if you're putting a good amount of nutes in the hole.

but alas...it's not too late to put plants outdoors, i've been putting my vegged clones out in july for a late-season mini's. this way, the sunlight is getting to prime flowering time and veg time is cut short. it really helps keep plant size down if you don't want to grow monsters. for those, i usually stick them amongst the veggies or in 5-gal pots.

hardening off the plants is super easy and essential for a good switch from indoor to outdoor. just don't do what i've done in the past and decide to harden them off the week of a heatwave, especially with a clone-only strain that you don't have a mother of anymore (mine was the real deal Hogsbreath). i like to put them under a spot that gets sun in the morning and then gets partially shaded by a tree in the daytime, then gradually get them into full sunlight over like a weeks time period. that or put them out for a few hours and bring them back in, gradually increasing their time in the sun.

im putting about 9-12 blueberry clones out on june 20th. they're not quite a foot tall now and i bet i get 3/4 to 1 1/4 lb per. im using a guerilla spot that was soil amended the year it was planted and unused last season but that usually not the case in a late planned guerilla grow

Thank you for all the advice everyone. I am not sure right now what to do. Should I just dream or try out three clones in a spot?
This morning, after finishing all my bud from our local guru, Trybud, I decided to scout. I've started to feel much better and have started to have a "normal" life again in some respects so I figured a ride would be due.

So, I jumped on the bike and went for a stroll trying to stay upright, (thanks again Trybud) and I found a few areas that I think are pretty good. They are hard to access by foot due to insane amounts of bushes that look like hypodermic needles, but a really, really tall person they could walk out there. The only traffic I see around the occasional canine footprint. Besides that, the nearest markings are some older ATV tracks but nothing going directly into the grow spot. Since the area at one time was prepped for housing, there are large sections where earth is stacked three to four feet taller where houses would have been. This means, the valley in between these larger flat sections is nearly 3 feet lower than ground level, this is the road. (This is all due to living in a flood area and builders putting houses above water levels, in case you were wondering.) Since this was prepped and not developed, this area has drastically overgrown with small shrubs and weeds. The value in this lays in that truly the only access to these areas is on foot, bike or motor vehicle in these valley sections between the home sections. However, as stated the area is over grown with about two feet of brush in the valleys and nearly four feet of brush on the home mounds.

So, I biked through shit I wasn't even aware a bicycle could drive through but I guess pedaling was sufficient. If you stand in the valley, the bushes are nearly above my eye line at over 6' tall and thick.

My question is this: could burying a five gallon bucket with three clones stay under three feet?

I'd probably have to cut some branches or LST, but my meds intake has risen and I'm able to help out, so I'd love to try. This wouldn't be a big loss if it was apprehended since I'm legal but it would be fun to try my first outdoor grow.

Anyhoo, perhaps it's a pipe dream to try and keep two-three plants a secret, hidden in a bucket, buried in a field ,but I like the dream anyways.

fyi some people will hike upwards of 20 miles away from civilization to protect their guerilla grow.

I went MAYBE ten minutes away from civilization. Like I said though, only animals are going into this area by the very small trails I could find. I am not worried about whirly birds or the "force." Maybe some very curious and adventurous, almost insane kids would find it or some animal. Currently, three plants in a five gallon bucket is my loss risk.

Jeff, thanks I didn't realize you could go that route, I will inform them. They were going to someplace in Elk Grove and the soonest they could be seen was early july. Thanks

Have them do some research and bring information to the doctor's with them. Most people I think would be surprised that I suggest your formal doctor, but you already have that relationship and they are aware of your medical issues. I didn't think my doctor that I've seen since age 13 would renew my recommendation but I had to try. Yet, bringing in my bottles and showing evidence of the benefits in my life regarding medical cannabis assured him of my maturity and seriousness regarding medical marijuana.

I actually think if more people approached their pcp first, we could slowly change the industries approach to medical marijuana. Just imagine, a lunch room full of family care physicians discussing a patient that uses, dare I say it, MEDICAL MARIJUANA!!!! It's not important how people "feel" about it because those feelings can change. It is the discussion in and of itself that is vital to getting the traditional family doctor on our side.

Jeff, you are 100% right and I am going to offer this advice to them. It has been a long struggle (they are 60's) to just get them to acknowledge MMJ could be better than all the bullshit they have been taking. Old habits are very hard to break, and most people are very ignorant to the various strains and how they can help in different ways. I think I have plead my case to them longer and harder than I wanted but in the end they are open to try MMJ. I think the gardening part of it has benefits as well. When I started it became something I really enjoyed and I want to pass on the feeling of making your own medication from start to finish. I remember the first MJ i grew, man was I proud of that stuff, made the high all that much better. Thanks Jeff have a good one

has anyone checked out capital city wellness' new location they have clones now and they are all 10 bucks a pop. I trust those guys they actually work to improve the community and are all for the patients so I have a good feeling about the quality of their clones.

Jeff, try 'Roots orgenic' soil, the sack is camo & you can barry the sac about 1/2 way to help with water conservation. I do two plants per sack. Don't froget to remove the sacks at the end of your grow! Do not place all your plant in the same area and if you are careful you should have 1/4 to 1/2 make it. Good luck:woohoo:

thought i share with ya guys some more shots of trybud's Pre98 Bubba
