Those are some real healthy looking gals you got there! As much as I go on about cheese, I really want to try some of the California Kush/Diesel genetics. I was lucky enough not too long back to get some of Rez's gear, Sour diesel x chemdog, and Double strawberry diesel. Your pics get me kinda inspired! I plan to get some beans popped in May. It will be the time for me to provide a better environment for them during the warmer months.

Shifty, though I can't comment on tha version you have, tha UK Cheese has been in Cali fer several yrs now and is fairly easy to obtain.

TryBud, pass on tha Grape Ape, it has a non-existent high.

I got all excited when I found a clone labeled 'UK Cheese' at CMC in San Fran, mothered her up and took more cuttings, but it turned out to be some sort of squat and candy-smelling pure indica, not even close to the Cheese. Not a trace of Skunk in her. I ended up calling that plant "Nacho", as in "that's not yo' Cheese". It's not bad smoke, it's actually got a really nice head to go with the body hit, but it ain't no Cheese, either. I can't bring myself to cull the mom, but I don't know if I want to grow it again.

Seriously though, how fucking hard is it to correctly label a clone? I've been managing my strain collection for years, ADD and bipolar as all getout, completely stoned the entire time, and I've never grown out one of my own cuttings only to find "oh, that's not what I thought it was". And I can barely organize a sock drawer.

Thanks for the info, Steele. I've checked out your grows and info on your seeds as well and it looks like you have some bomb-ass shit and mad grow skills! You probably travel in much different circles when it comes to access to genetics compared to me, for I have never seen the the exodus cut in the clubs. I'm pretty stoked with the BBC and will be keeping a mom for my colder months grow. I'm trying find a total of 4 keeper-mom plants to work with for a while...all 4 moms being different strains/varieties.

Don't want to take up too much thread space here, but the Sac thread is coming along quite well and I'm getting alot of good info on what's genetics are out there, what the scene is like, and what you mofo's are smoking! Keep it up with the pix and strain info!

Thats some funny shit. And rings the truth loud and clear. I also can not organize anything in my life, except I do know what is up when it comes time to take care of my girls and what I have growing.

Sadly, ChemMart has to close its doors (the dispensary i own that operates in the electonics aisle of super walmart in marysville for the ppl not up to speed) . Seem the folks at walmart didn't like the slack off of dvd player sales so im shutting my blue siren off forever ...................On the brightside i dropped about 30 green cracks (CUSH) and some chem91, hindu skunk and UK cheese at horizon this morning...get them while they're hot....

Nooooooo, not ChemMart, they always had the sweetest deals. It's been a little windy lately aye guys?

yeah, those walmart guys wouldn't be so open to mj sales in their store. offer up some crack or some meth and you might be in business at the walmart near me. i can't even go in there without looking out of place with my 'normal clothes' when everyone is dressed up like they are going either to a club or to the trailer park. can't even count how many boots w/the fur, stiletto shoes, dogs in purses, saggy oversized pants, missing teeth, or crackheads i saw the last time i was in there. uuurgh! walmart. glad i stopped shoping there.

anyways...

so i've been having to actually go and purchase finished product from clubs lately (which majorly sucks ass) as i was a lazy ass and didn't grow anything for 6months and now i'm out. luckily the next batch of hindu skunk (from horizon) and cherry pie is about halfway done in my new hydrohut.

i've always been a big fan of fruity smelling/tasting strains and when i was at Marconi, i got some finished sativa called "pineapple" and i think the stuff is freaking delicious IMO and am wondering if anyone knows which cut it is and where to get it? smells pretty much like pineapples. has a very sweet taste and smell, nice uppity sativa high.

When does everyone put their stuff outdoor ?

x2 farmer's almanac.

actually, i've already got one outside that's about halfway done and a few minis in the lean-to that are almost done. since we didn't get much rain or cold this year, warm days started early and winter/spring flowering was possible.

putting plants outside right now would most likely trigger them to start flowering due to the number of light hours. but since the light hours are increasing, in about a month or so the plants will go back to veg unless you manually control their dark period and force flower them. this is a good thing if you want to do a late spring/early summer crop.

if you want some monsters for the end of summer crop, take some clones now and veg them indoors until around May and then toss them in amended 4'x4'x4' holes and you'll have so much dank your head will spin and your fingers will hate you from all the trimming you'll have to do, hehehe.

for late-season crop, put out your vegged plants sometime in mid-late July. they should flower immediately and not get very big. perfect for late season outdoor SOG.

but you've gotta love that big-ass free light in the sky. i don't recall ever hearing about a bulb that can compete with it.

Yo I'm just finishing one run of outdoor. I put it out mid-Feb so they'll be done mid-April. I'm crossing a Crystall Throttle x Pure Gooey and a few other projects.
My main outdoor crop will be put out on May 14th.

i started flower on my crop on march 2nd but we had a cold snap up here that either stunted or delayed their flowering.i like to put my summer crop out between may 20th and june 5th. i took my cuts already and im vegging them inside at night and i bring them outside in the day. mid april i start adjusting the light cycle gradually( decrease indoor light 1 hour every 3 -4 days or so) to get them in tune with the outside light and not trigger flower...works perfect for the clones i run.

From my experience, if I put my clone babies out before the middle of May, they will start flowering, and get stressed out, and lose a month or 2 of veg because of flowering/reverting back to veg.
Seeds on the other hand can be put out in March if you want, they need at least 6 weeks of veg before they can really flower anyway, and they will veg with March's daylight hours.

I lost a very valuable strain by putting her out about the middle of April. She started flowering, then I tried to re veg her by putting her back inside. 2 months later she was still hella stressed, and had no signs of vegging again. Sadly I pulled her.
Trybud, I think you're doing it right, you will have huge clone plants.

did you grab any other strains from there to show?...not finished testing but my schrom is really putting out a lemon rind type of smell and i might take some cuts to pass around before its finished....i have one of those Bubba U plants from clearlake mkt. i guess it hermies a little bit (not the test plant so far) but it is really vigorous in veg considering its slow-growing parents....
