:-('s noob grow.. dual 150 vertical cab

Hi :-(

First off, nice grow, I had a similar cab a while back, and always wanted to fit 2 flowering rooms. Too bad you lost the veg area in the process.

Also, when you say they drink half a gallon a day, do you mean you water them a bit each day or did you just calculate their per-day consumption? Because if you water them a bit every day, that would explain the droopy leaves and slower growth you've talked about. These plants like a good, heavy watering that thoroughly saturates the medium, followed by a dry period. The leaves may need carbon dioxide, but the roots need oxygen to thrive.

Hope this helps!

Hi Skillet and Tilt, I've followed your advice to watering LESS. Letting the dirt dry out and waiting until the pots are very light before watering again. This amounts to watering every 2-3 days. I am feeding every other day. 2 TBS of Tiger Bloom and 1 TBS of Big Bloom per gallon.

UPDATE
Day 24 of 12/12
Had to do some height management, the plants were growing into the lights and getting burned, I didn't expect all 12 plants to be female, I was expecting 5-7 females, so this is really cramping my space!

Most of the plants are looking very nice and green, there are 3-4 plants that appear to be bad phenotypes, they stretched during early flower and the nodes became spaced about 6 inches apart (worthless for a small cab like this) and these stretchy plants are also the same ones that have droopy leaves. Although they are packing on some nice buds up top. I might just trim all the lower branches off these and hope for a massive bud up top.

Photos from left to right

Pic 1 is the top chamber
Pic 2 is the bottom chamber, notice the tallest plants and their droopy bud leaves (bad pheno)
Pic 3 is the plant that mostly resembles its skunk #1 mother, I'll keep an eye on her she looks like a beast
Pic 4 is the whole cabinet

This has been far from a perfect grow, I'm going to wrap it up at 8 weeks.

Next time around I have some pretty cool ideas and better genetics. Might not post it up, until I refine my growing skills.

It's a learning curve :-( Man. You'll get better quality smoke if you let them go till they're ready. I think things in your bloom box are lookin pretty good for a "noob". Keep up the great work! :ying:

Thanks for the kind words everyone :) Some of the pheno's have been weak plants, and a few are awesome, fat skunky little plants.

I have some nice genetics for next time around, and I'm going to tweak my grow box more. Stay tuned for more pics, and a weigh-in after harvest. :thank you:
