An indoor cave grow in vietnam?!? That sounds crazy, like something out of a James Bond movie. I'm surprised that in a climate like that someone would bother with artificial lighting.

Hoping that there's more to the Vietnam visit. There must be good landraces still growing there!

yeah, it's incredible that they grow commercial indoor bud in Vietnam (it's probably in the tunnels and caves the Viet Cong hid themselves and their supplies in during the American War)

what they could do is use just one hut or a cave for mothers, vegging, cloning etc and lots of well ventilated poly tunnels for flowering (and depending on the latitude and strains, they could flower all year round..the only problems for a big set up like that would be typhoons, Google Earth and a few high humidity months during the wet season..but correct strain selection, the right people paid off and good gardening could overcome that)

I can't imagine that there's a market for hundreds of kilos of hydroponic bud in Vietnam each month?..but what do I know? maybe it gets sent to Japan or other wealthy cities in Asia?..maybe it gets shipped in large loads to Canada or the US..or perhaps even to the UK?

Up around Da Nang and Hoi An are good places for weed, much Like good mexican in the early 80s,lots of smalltime grows,(80-100 plants in some mango orchard etc.) Cheap and all in all very nice quality, Not some holy grail BS story some would have you believe, But very kind weed.

Living in Vietnam has spoiled me rotten, long flowering sativas from seed, MAYBE a few weeks under floros, out into compost and Dress with manure.

Holy crap,

I live in Phnom Penh at this moment. I got real pissed with some vendors for not shipping here. Seems that seedbay will and one other, but still can't get all the strains I want. Glad I found this Thread. Gypsy, any recommendations on growing here ( time of year)? Think it's safe for me to grow off my balcony, hidden from street view? Any advice would be nice or suggestions, I'm a noobie. I don't smoke, but super fascinated with the plant, but will smoke it once I grow it. i have to. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Hey uncleho, probably coming to Vietnam soon. I know we probably won't meet, because we're all so damn paranoid, but I hope to bump into on the streets. Thanks for all your earlier advice in the other thread. maybe, we'll meet in Cambodia. It's a small world!

MdD thanks, in there is a 1000w hps sunmaster, I took cuts from her again, and i will keep shelving her till I dont no when just yet, look beside her and you will see her flowering in clone form and the bucket to the right. That plant has been under there for 4 weeks.....stretch city, I moved the momma seed plant in there on 70 days, she was getting to big for the cabnet...... the cabnet packs way more lumes of HP/MH.....this plant needs crazy amount of light.......I fluked it this far with her, this plant has been around the block and has showed no sign of herms, I called her back in the thread and she showed me different, also I will get a pic of about 6 seeds on her, the only male that was around was all the mazars freebies, so I get to chase the rainbow there for a bit

Thanks for throwing up the pics. Is the clone developing flowers any faster than the seed plant?
The way they look and the lack of herm's make me happy have a pack.The cross with the Mazar might be fun and the possible f2's,Wow!

your welcome LG, no the clone plant seems slower.....different room, this is why I think it needs so much light, if that seed plant does something to my head I will redo the clone the sameway I did the seed before I hit it with something, then I should get abit of seed.....it gotta hit me right though, before all that work,...... she smells like lemon spice, i got 3/3 seeds and one female, and she was the least stinky, so maybe you will find the keeper, good luck
