sweet grow rush
chronic looks like a great strain for yeild.
you should do a run from cuts with the hydro setup.

Rush, sorry to jump in, I just think your name is great. I was just sitting here with my spliff contemplating that whole image. Imagine, if only for a moment, the hypocritical two-faced Limbaugh knew that there was a fellow mocking him with an online psuedo; Rush Limbong the ganja growing altar-ego of the pill-popping booze-flowing super right wing republican. It might be the straw that broke the camel's back. All that blood pressure would just explode him up from the inside like an atom bomb... :rasta:

Rush, I also forget to ask you question.

When I used to run the hydronton, I would cleanse and cleanse the pebbles, but I could never get rid of that orange/brown residue.

It continually bleed my nutrient water and buckets orange the entire course of harvest. In all honesty, it did not seem like it effected the plants. However, I like to run everything as effeciently as possible and to rid that dreadful residue would be a major accomplishment.

Is there a step that im missing while cleansing the hydroton? Am I buying the wrong brand?

It annoyed me so much that I switched to a rockwool medium, which only seemed to attract alagae, even in optimum growing conditions. I dont like the rockwool, and I want to go back to hydroton medium.

If you could advise me in anyway to use the hydroton in a way that is not going to leave the residue, it would be much appreciated.

All i can say is that you didn't wash the hydroton properly. i dumped mine in to a bath full of water gave it a a good soak and them used a big sieve i bought specially to take the hydroton out of the bath and then rinsed in again with the shower before putting it in buckets. even at that i did see some bleeding , but not much . hydroton bleeding will not do the plants any harm at all, but it could start to clog your pipe and if that happens a flood will not be far behind it :badday:

Hey everyone, been away for a while, but I'm hearing that some of the grow tent companies are recalling their tents because they're giving off some poisonous gasses?? WTF? I hope this didn't affect some of the grows I've had in the hydro hut?
