Run 4 - two tents of Sativa

Well, to make lemonade from the lemon I have been served, I cut the OHLP male back so as to not impede the OHSK female's growth and blooming. She will probably get knocked up, and seeds may result.

She has plenty of time...

So cute the way they hold hands. I like the male taking so long to show sex. I think these two lovebirds will make NLD babies. I am gonna net the tops down, and the fans will do the rest.

This pic's for you, Giggles. Why would you want a jar of that seedy junk?

The AG is the star of the big tent. Making some frost and nose.

DP has the brown hairs going on, but the leaves are still green. She'll go longer.

This rapid OHSK should be terrific, but there is zero frost, and not much nose. The leaves are starting to yellow. I may have been too late with the carbs on this one. I am now adding Blue Gold's "Super Carb" to the top water feed.

Thanks. Soil is like cheating. These are mids at best. Notice the lack of frost? The whole reason we do this is to make trics. That AG has potential though. I'm working on it.

Let's look in on the lovebirds... The bag that holds OHSK is at the right rear. OHLP's bag is left front. The top of OHLP is fight front quadrant. A 10 gallon bag and a single plant would probably fill a tent with these sativas.

Seedsman OHz and a new light are up next in the cue for this tent.

Once they start getting going, they get going. There are flowers all over the OHSK/ I cut the horney OHLP back to just one quadrant of the tent. They have been 0n 10.25 ON for several weeks. I am starting OHSK on the carbs and some other goodies I got, Mr Fulvic and Mammoth active microbials. Plus the Blue Gold carbs.

The chunky tent is chugging long and the leaves indicate much more time still. I'll be growing more chunky hybrids next in here. The chunky OHSK in the front right still has no frost. It's hard to see short DP back in the right rear. I think the Barney's Farm AG will be the best to come out of there.

How do I induce frosting on OHSK? I turned the lights back up, but the tent can only take so much power before heat out-paces humidity on th VPD chart.

Thanks Mr. Gizmo! Some new stretchy nets came today, and I hope I didn't kill off too many branches trying to weave a sea of sativa. Probably made an irreparable mess, but I was trying to pull the plant over the empty area where the male was. Leave him down below in the underworld.

No, I have not grown any of these before. That plant is the shortest, and making the least flower. The buds are turning dark, but the leaves are what I am going by this time - in search of frost. BTW, there is some kind of auction with the same looking packs on Gypsy's Seedbay store.

Don't blame the srain for the lack of frost - that's on me. Here she is:

She looks happy. I would like to see the cured smoke report once they're done. Hope it pays out the struggle you had to go trough. The light, humidity and nutrients are on point. No bugs attacking the plants either. Do you harvest at half amber? I'm expecting DP to pack on nice size in the next 2 weeks.

I have pulled at 10-20% amber in the past, but the leaves were still too strong, and the dope was weak. I am going to let the leaves tell me this time, and wait a little before I take any tops. Actually I could use some narcotic bud, and may let some go even longer. I looked last night and this tent went 12-12 on 12/15, so it has only been 6 weeks. I am feeding carbs, fulvic, and some Mammoth microbes to try to increase the frost.

For better or worse... This is what a sativa in a 10 gallon bag looks like. Little Nutsack in the front right is also in 10 gallons, but I cut him down to size. The tent flipped early Dec, so 8 weeks in.

That's gonna be some seeds. How's Durban's smell? How often do you feed? Any updates on OHSK's frost? Cheers

I usually feed once a week. I have convinced myself that I need carbs to make frost, so I am feeding twice a week now with them. Probably won't help. Smell isn't that strong, but there is a lot of time yet. The AG is making a little nose. OHSK nothing yet, but it wants to have a little mango type smell. It's leaves are starting to turn.

I cranked the light power back up pretty high, and they look like they are taking it just fine, especially the AG. DP is a lot shorter plant, and is getting a lot less umoles. It may never perk up the trics.

I noticed the light in the big tent had 2 bars running over an hour and a half after lights-out. I had the power up at 85%. Smacking the relays around electrically with the controller got the bars to turn off. Dammit. 2nd time I have had this issue with these e680 lights. Very difficult to change the light mid-run, and with this folding light the whole thing has to be replaced to fix one bar..
