early week 8 bud shots

early week 8 bud shots

picture.php

^ Grapestomper OG (gage green group) x Bubba Jam (BK x jazzberry jam)
"grape jam"
biggest buds in the room, looks like they don't want to finish... giving them colder temps (which unfortunately lowers humidity) and shorter light hours

picture.php

^^ Grape jam
evidence of aphids in this pic... lil fucking assholes

picture.php

^ White Dawg x Long Valley Royal Kush
"white valley"
smells like burnt rubber, skunk cabbage, and rotting something, no sweetness or fruityness at all, just sour milk and funky socks
pretty unique but honestly not my fav of all the nasty smelling strains i have right now, she stacks on big golfballs tho and i'm a fan of the low stretch factor

picture.php

^^ Lime Cookies Bubba, the queen of the stable

picture.php

^ LCB
stanking like rasberry cheesecake and kush
been enjoying smoking on the outdoor lime cookies bubba, really can't wait to puff this indoor run tho

kind of the star of the show this run:
picture.php

^ Chuck D by Budding Industries
East Coast Sour D x Deep Chunk
smells sweet and funky, but mostly sweet, sugary, not fruity really just SWEEET like a candy made with afghan kush and corn syrup - faint hint of cedar or vetivert or something musky woody just lurking way beneath all that sweetness.... not incredibly smelly, but very unique and i assume the smell will flourish with a proper slow dry and cure

picture.php

^ Chuck D
the next incarnation of Chunky Diesel (same cross by different breeder that i grew in the past)

picture.php

^ catpiss moontang
love this strain, so catpissy with basil ammonia funk

picture.php

^^ canopy vibes
red/purple/pink plant in the corner is nightmare cookies, yellowed out plant is sour d (which smells all cheesey this run for some reason)
most all the plants on the side benches yellowed hard kind of early, they were bloomed in the same soil they vegged in with not enough amendments topdressed at flip (apparently). quality seems good, very greasey and stinky but yield took a hit on those - kind of a good compromise because i just threw them in their at the last minute for a lil bit more, and that's what it will become - a lil bit more
might take all the sours from around the outside and do a fresh frozen bubble hash run or something like that with them.
never done fresh frozen bubble.... might need to do some research about it - time to dig into new(old) icmag threads

I know Ive like some of your posts in the past but I have to say something here so that it comes in my feed when you post. I really dig your style, your yields are insane, it is very inspiring.

One question, why ladybugs?

I used to buy them a lot but at the end of the day they would die in the fans and lights and just make a mess.

The adults are useless, and they are hard to rear indoor, what would be nice is if we could buy ladybugs eggs, the youngsters are the hungry ones.

Anyway, my regular bugs are persimillis, stratios (hypoapsis miles), cucumeris. Those 3 benes take care of all pests in my garden.

Do you spray at all? do you run cycles? your flower room is epic!

^ [(Black Lime Reserve x Lucky Charms) x Sour Bubble]

Yo!

Nice to see the Lady Bugs in use :)

Any problems with the lights? I tried lady bugs once, in a big open garage, and they still all went right into the light! (and fried)

Any who,

curious about that Black Lime x Lucky Charms x SB

LOVE the Black Lime I had from aficionado in '13 at the emerald cup. Lucky charms is a Chem cross right?

Sounds like a good mixup. Curious to hear more about the expressions on this one...

Hope all is well!

Amen- I'm running grape stomper myself and I can see it immediately in your plants. I can practically smell it from here. Grape Jam for the win.

I hadn't checked out your thread for a bit. A few pages back you have a pic of some packaging for seeds. You starting a lil enterprise, sir? ;)

just started working some THC/CBD crosses - about to send out testers for those

yes i spray but not after about week 4
lady bugs are there to fuck up the aphids, they did an ok job
slowed them down nicely but didn't wipe them out
i have roves and h.miles in the soil but my air is so dry that i think i would have issues w keeping persimilis alive same w californicus

run cycles?
i don't do perpetual, just flip a room, finish it, refill w veg plants asap and flip again....
thanks!

i was gifted the lucky charms x black lime reserve seeds (from whodatis iirc)
they seemed stretchy and kind of long flowering time so i hit the keepr with sour bubble pollen instead of culling her....
didn't keep the lucky charmsxBLR... smell was spicey kushy, smallish buds lots of stretch

Damn, crazy how fat your grape jam buds are. Nice pheno

THANKS!

I learned the hard way with the rove, for a while I thought they were amazing until I started harvesting flowers that were COVERED with dead ones, they became the pest I guess you could say. I was releasing way too many !

You are right, persi do not survive well in dry conditions that is why I apply them weekly. Californicus would do better in the dry but they are very expensive to buy because my supplier has to get them from elsewhere. I used to use fallacis with the persimillis but it's been months that I only use persi, they move fast!

Everything is looking killer man !! That Catpiss/Moontang sounds incredible. Chunk D looks insane ! I saw Budding Industries selection, which yours looks just as good. After seeing that hybrid, I can't wait to make my version of it. Just popped a pack of Deep Chunk and I have the ECSD cut.

I haven't used any fresh (still wet) plant material/trim in years to make bubble hash out of. I didn't like the way the still wet plant mater would clump up. I found that starting with dry plant material worked best, with the best yield in resin too.

I'd be interested in seeing what your fresh frozen stuff looks like.

I tried it once myself with disappointing results. Drying it out & crumbling the popcorn seems to give the best results. I just save the trim from my small grow in the freezer until I have enough to make it worth the effort.

Looks like a good turnout, the smells have to be all over the place with the variety you have. Easily one of the best things about growing weed are the new smells and combination of scents

Man...
That went quick!
At least from my non growing (for the time being) perspective.

Flowers look wonderfully frosty!
