Ron Paul for President 2008!

At least there is a democratic canadate that wants pot legal but like Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich will never make the ballot.

So a write in vote for either of these will just screw the next most liberal canadate, the democrat.

He is of course against the War on Drugs but I think promoting that fact too much will scare off the bible-thumpers, so I'd rather focus on his other views.

Just curious;.........What does bible thumping have to do with views on drug laws? I'm curious since the reasoning I hear most often for legalization is quoted from the bible.

Most biblethumpers are against MJ. And not surprisingly, most biblethumpers are regressive...not progressive.

Any politician who makes it onto the ballot is by definition a lying sack of pigshit and is not to be trusted.

Most godless people are selfish but generalizations get us nowhere. I do find it humorous that the bible is used when it fits conveniently and that goes for non-Christians just as often!

I'm not even Christian but how can all the seed bearing plants be for our use if the book is considered fiction?

Too bad the guy dosent have a chance in hell at being elected in america! Americans dont elect people to lead who really tell the truth!

He is doing rather well on the internet because of ppl like you and me. The mainstream news wont cover him... The burden is on us to get the word out. Once ppl watch him speak on the issues.... they start to listen. If Ron Paul makes it to the televised debates.... hes goin to be making too much sense for americans not to jump on his campaign msg of liberty + freedom.

RP is a 'real' politician - a courageous statesman - I still cannot see how he got where he is.. He does have an electable name.
he sure is... he got where he is today because of his credentials... serving as a flight surgeon and his experiences in his medical practice helped him formulate a more personal outlook on the american ppl... that along side his tenure in the house serving texas 14th district has been perfect... he consistently votes in favor of the constitution... we need more lawmakes like him in power...

limited goverment
fix our fiat money supply
get our troops out of harms way... give up the role of nation builder
give the states the sole right to regulate marijuana

A guy like Dennis Kucinich as president with both houses controlled by democrats would be the antidote the USA needs so badly right now. Denis has great idea's and well thought out plans. Its a shame the mass will never get their heads out of their asses but it would be great.

Dennis is a good guy, but I dont think the democrats are the anitidote to this nation... Both parties just fuck the American ppl in different ways (excuse my lang).... oncee the american ppl are fed up with one party, they just pass the hat and fuck us a different way. Before the Dems go into congress it was all tough talk on impeachment and bringing our troops home... Now after they get there... they have taken a complete 180... nancy pelosi and conyers has publicly stated that impeachment is off the table and that they wil block all attempts at it... not to mention the debate about bringing our troops home magicly transformed into a debate about wheather or not to surge with 20,000-40,000 more troops... WTF???? Its a complete charade... if ppl can't see through the tricks of the demopublicans and the republicrats then this country might be worse off than most think. btw, kucinich and ron paul work regurlarly on issues that are on common ground to them both.

Let me rephrase my last statement, Dennis Kucinich is the antidote the USA needs right now, plus backed by both house with Democrats at majority so any of his well thought out plans and ideas don't get axed due to dumb Rep vs Dem politics. Im not big on either party, but I like this Dennis Kucinich guy and he happens to be a Democrat.

Wow, Dennis Kucinich is everything that is wrong with a democrat in my opinion. He is for big government and for banning all handguns. Plus I think the guy seems like a total pushover and would be a "weak man" in office as far as dealing with foreign nations. I would take Obama any day over Kucinich as president. Plus he just looks like a little rat.

Obama wont have my support, but you do bring up imp. issues about Dennis.... He is stance on hand guns imo is deplorable...

Bottom line I just do not see Dennis Kucinich as presidential in nature. I see him as more of a congressional activist too the extent that he is not mainstream enough to be elected. Remember the mainstream political game rules do apply in presidential elections no matter if we like them or not.

Ron paul is this country's best hope , other than people like us who truly love freedom who else wuld support him? I doubt the bible beaters would. The internet is a great tool but I think barley 45% of americans have a computer and even the ones who do have to want to seek the truth.

"Big goverment" is the modus operandi of ALL political parties, his "big goverment" ideas are a hell of a lot more impressive to me than the current shitstem ones. Also funny the only point you bring out is the "gun banning", you need to stop thinking about "guns" and take a look at the real issues at hand.

I'd rather vote for Kucinich then let another republican in the top seat.

And he doesn't look like a little rat! He looks like a little garden gnome without the beard :D

I like kucinich but he has even less a chance than ron paul. Really neither of these great americans have a chance in hell cause they are great americans. America has a love for slimeballs and puppets! Not honesty and TRUE FREEDOM.

Hey now, Ron Paul a good guy. He gets alittle much when he starts talking about a gold standard. I'm a Kucinich democrat. He a neighbor, a friend, and he's not afraid to speak truth to power. Recently though I saw Mike Gravele of Alaska. He's got a record of accomplishment in area of Peace& Justice. He's not afraid to ask; "Who do you want to nuke". or "America is the biggest nuclear proliferator". He was Gov of Alaska, a place where pot laws are fair.
He against the Drug war and the War in Iraq. An American elder statesman who willing to try change America's insanity.

All these folks are long shots but, given a woman, blackguy,Hispanic,& the morman, Who can best clean up the mess Bush & his Republican coconspiritor are leaving behind? It's a dirty job that somebody gonna do. Sweep in under the rug or put out the trash! :yoinks:
