ron paul for all his talk of fiscal conservatism sounds good but but if you look at his voting record he didn't vote for the money spending bills which is good,
but if you dig deeper what you will find is when a huge spending bill did come along and he knew it would still pass regardless if he voted no then he would load as much pork as he could into it and bring the bacon home... he's a politician like the rest.

what we need to make an effective change is not to get a *professional politician* but an outsider that has business management smarts, unfortunately that man has dropped out of the race.

Pretty far off base considering Paul doesnt talk to lobbyist. Paul has explained 'the pork' voting, i cant do it justice, but im sure you could youtube it.

Which man is the 'outsider' that dropped out??? You have me stumped...

The Donald?

It cant be Perry, and i doubt youre talking Bachmann.

Huntsmann LITERALLY is cheap chinese version of the Mitt Romney (Ken Doll).

Pull the string he talks... wait was that Cantonese... What the fuck did he say?

Out of all the GOP establishment, Huntsman was the best, but he is still Mitt Romney lite.

He is not too old, he probably doesnt disappear.

Vote for Herman Cain. Stephen Colbert is running for the office of Herman Cain.

Edit at below: actually he has. It's not very damn often he's a hypocrite but he's still a politician, is he not?

Paul doesn't vote for pork barrle spending, you just can not prove other wise. What he does do when a bill passes that he has voted No on which contains pork barrel spending is do his best to "ear mark" the spending so that the unitary executive doesn't have free will to spend it.

He earmarked money for schools, hospitals, and emergency evacuation routes. This money was already set aside in the budget. Otherwise this money would have gone to bailout some billionaires.

When it comes to policy, I feel like I know more of Paul's ideas than all the other candidates combined. Everybody else is talking shit, making the latest gaffe, etc.

cuz ron is the ONLY one with any solid ideas of his own.

Even if Ron can get in,, it's no good if it stops there.
Congress itself is the bigger issue.
Congrees needs replacement for anything to come from this for the good of the majority.

Ron will make a terrific leader, of that I'm certain. But he needs folks to lead... not those working for their own personal agendas.

To take our country back,, the Presidency is just a beginning. We need to vote in a team that'll support him,,, not work against him.

Needs to be a "Team America" effort.:jump:Yea team! :jump:

Great point. I say these people will be a good start, they all support HR 2306- fed decrim bill.

I read through most of this thread again the past couple of days, and I just wanted to say that I am blown away at the passion I see in everyone that has been keeping this thread alive. There are some really brilliant minds contributing great info. It feels good to know you guys are on the same page because we all know what it's like trying to inform the sleeping masses. We are living in a very special point in time. What we do over the next few months is going to affect us greatly in the future. I have noticed people are becoming aware of the real issues. People are waking up faster and faster as the system scrambles to implement their police state control grid. The system is becoming so bold in their grab for power it's cartoonish. I feel this is waking people up that just needed to hear about something like NDAA to make everything we have been saying click. I step back in my mind and I analyze all the events happening in the world, political, scientific, economic, etc. and I see the control, and the manipulation of the masses of people that are oblivious to the power structure. I've learned that certain people will never wake up to the reality of what is unfolding so I just don't waste my time on them and try to enlighten those with open minds. Truth is what I seek on this short journey we are blessed with called life. Here's a great quote that has been floating around my brain lately."Those who stand for nothing fall for anything".

I was thinking.... Dangerous I know!

Even after Ron Paul serves his 2 terms as the next President, we will need to have someone to follow him in the battle of the people for the United States back.:jump::yay::jump:

like my grade school teacher would stamp all over my papers::

SHOW YOUR WORK

Ive been hearing alot of bullshit liek this about Paul and he always has a reason why he wouldnt vote for it ... and it usually has to do with him wanting it to be STATES RIGHT issue rather then another federal government mandate

Excellent article and video clips to back it up......

Excellent article and video clips to back it up......

http://www.prisonplanet.com/debate-audience-protests-cnn-attempts-to-exclude-ron-paul.html

“My debate performance tonight is already turning heads.” Paul wrote. “What the crowd saw tonight was my opponents savaging each other over and over in a desperate attempt to defend their Big Government records. Me? I wasn’t touched once. Because quite frankly, I can’t be. I’ve spent 30 years fighting against establishment politicians – like my opponents – to finally put an END to politics as usual.”

That is the Ron Paul, I will be voting for in the primaries and come November! The one and only Ron Paul!

Peace

Ron Paul can FUCK the GOP so hard if they keep ignoring him...
All he has to do is drop out and run as an indie and the republicans are done....

No doubt! If they keep up the antics to marginalize him the R will suffer in the end! Ron Paul is a real Republic. The others are all wolves in sheep's clothing. All the other 3 are ready for the next war since non of them have ever had to fight in one! Nor have I but I am not the CHICKEN-HAWK WARRIOR! RP wants to avoid unnecessary wars, not preemptively attack others for decades while the US Media calls occupation liberation. I honestly don't see how the R party can win if they don't elect RP the nominee. RP supporters can't go to any of the others because they aren't offering anything we need done. NOTHING! Drug Legalization? No. End wars? No. Fix Monetary system? No. End FED? No. Restore Person Freedoms? No

This is a must watch clip that breaks down shit beautifully from Civil War to now....Please watch.

I like him too. I think Rand will probably take over Ron's top spot but I am very sure that Gary Johnson will have input if he doesn't take the lead as you think he could. I saw GJ say that if RP gets the R nominee that he will not run 3rd party against him. If RP don't get it then he would run.

GJ feels that RP supports his ideas that much...which is why I really like GJ. GJ is even more pro weed but the drug war is a big deal. I remember in college I was told i couldn't write a report on legalizing weed because it had been done to many times :D So I asked if I could do a report on "drug legalization". I was shocked when she said, "ok". Once I did some research I have been convinced every since that we need to get rid of the black market. Every black market in the worlds history has created more crime due to higher prices and increased dangers created.
