I'd like to ask Anyone doing the cold cure tech, How are you finding the stability over time?
If anyone has managed to sit on a chunky of cold cure 6star Rosin yet...lol let me know,
Has it improved? Or degraded?
I suspect degredation due to cuticle removal during pressing.but I'd like to see/hear about your experiences

All that stuff is so potent it's hard to tell what's what. Someone should be around shortly.

Hey Mack what‘s up i freeze mine once cold cured how i like it and it stays as is…
I once left a batch that was pressed too hot and long just in the fridge and it definitely degraded to some extent. Same with the samples from the cup, they all went darker in the fridge after a while

Agree with what Chevy said. Once it has the consistency you like you freeze it again to stop degradation. It always depends on the goal you have. About what stuff got how many stars, that would start a discussion imo hahahaha have a nice one!

Thanks for input guys.
I know Rosin definitely starts to degrade after only 30days on the shelf. Which causes some concern if pressing on mass.
I know there are some producers on here, so wanted to pick there brains on how quickly the Rosin degrades once the cuticle layer is removed.
This is not usually a problem with resin heads. As that precious resin is protected inside the cuticle layer.
Don't worry about any star ratings,
Was just using that as an example.
Ie. Super fire batch of Rosin, whipped and cold cured.

How fast would it go from 5, then 4 star?
I know despensary owners who start to reduce the price after 30 days as the quality starts to fade already.

I think it wouldn’t degrade in the star system would it? No residue after dabbing it will still be the case for older 6 star?
