Looking for actual pictures and grow reports.....

WITH images to support the claims....

Newest Breeder on the block selling and calling EVERYTHING in his possession “SKUNK TERPS”...Mentholated Skunk....Dead Skunk...

The usual....

Personally asked the man himself for some more information and possibly some pictures....blocked immediately!

The ONLY reason there seems to be some legitimate hype is he’s working with Oldtimers pre skunk pre Haze stock?!?! (Or whatever you’d like to call it)

OLDTIMER himself has dismissed the RKS claims...stating he NEVER found the RKS terpenes in his work....acrid notes but NO RKS!

Blueskiesvienna is a UK dude...so maybe some of you awesome international guys can speak to the work?!?

Cheers!

80s skunk was a strong funky smelling strain

that would stink thru 3 zip locks in your pocket the whole car would stink

best way to describe the smell

skunky,

with a undertone of

body odor, garlic, sweet smell of rotten meat,
and something else - aromatic woods maybe
but in all ways scrumptious

you will open the bag many times just to smell it that GOOD

the high was up and enjoyable
too much would end in red pie eye cotton mouth munchies
Sleep 3 hours :D LIGHT WEIGHTS BEWARE

long buds fluffy swollen lime green lots of fuzzy orange hairs
1/4oz looked like a 1/2 great bag appeal

the actual rks is supposedly a cross of

sensi sk1 x tfd afghanica
which considering they got sams stock is very plausible

you could try

super skunk

panama x santa marta colombian gold x sacred seed af#1
or haze x rank stinky bld affie

then theres ssh cat piss pheno
takes a pheno hunt of several packs

hope you find your holy grail its out there somewhere.
happy hunting

good vibes bro:huggy:

Honestly back then it was skunk, haze ...Afghani ......that's what was around...and I prefer those days to the clusterfuks we have now

Shoreline is an old Sensi Skunk strain which made its way to the USA and there a group in Texas selected it. Sometime later, after a Grateful Dead concert in the Shoreline Amphitheater, the clone received its name and began to spread around the world.

From what we know the original Shoreline has been long lost

ALBERT WALKER

The strong roadkill skunk-meets-lemon funk of Albert Walker will overwhelm the smell of many other plants in the grow room. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, but of unknown lineage, this Indica-dominant strain has a positive, relaxing, mood elevating effect that lasts longer than most.

Albert Walker was made popular at Grateful Dead concerts throughout the 1980s and 1990s, but was thought to have originated in the Pacific Northwest earlier than that. The structure and scent suggests that it’s an Afghani Skunk, but nobody knows for sure.

Albert Walker is a finicky and demanding strain that is tough to grow, requiring heavy feedings to maintain healthy growth. It yields well and is very rewarding if properly treated though. Possibly due to the old age of the clone, it is very difficult to clone and grow, but makes great breeding stock. (growing information courtesy of MoonshineMan)

Scent: Pungent lemony-garlic skunk
Flavor: Strong and thick-tasting lemony skunk
Effects: Coming on strong with a wave of heat to the head and chest, Albert Walker uplifts the mood and provides a good deal of mental energy at first. It changes it character after a short time though, turning into more of a euphoric and relaxing Indica effect. Good body relaxation, anti-anxiety, mood elevation, and appetite stimulation qualities.

Type: Indica-dominant hybrid
Genetics: Thought to be an old Afghani Skunk
Geographic Origin: Afghanistan, then to the Pacific Northwest
Flowering Time: 60 - 67 days

MIDAS

One of the larger yielding varieties Rare Dankness offers. Long running branches loaded with giant rounded "golden" buds of lemon, fuel, haze and that indescribable Trainwreck funk with some phenos leaning on garlic, lemon and haze. While that may not sound appealing, trust us, it is. Unique, old school lineage brought back with a heavy Sativa twist. Not a strain for inexperienced growers. High is HAPPY. High motivation aspects in the high make it an appealing for a winter time activities to keep away the blahs.

Lineage: Albert Walker X Nevil's Wreck

70+ Days flower time.

after a decade clones lose their vigor and need to be s1 or outcrossed
mostly the reason some old cuts are not available any longer

and go into history as a legend

the other reason great strains are lost - HOARDERS:pet the cat:

ethical statement:
I dont recommend any company or sell or profit from seeds

first time I smoked weed / hash 1979
some fond memories def were some good strains over the years

Ripple

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own?
It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air
Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow
Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup is full may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men
There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone
Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow
You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home

A few months ago I made a purchase from seedbay and they gave me 10 seeds alfred packer of rare dankness.

Is Albert Walker X Afghani # 1 IBL. I should put them to germinate soon although I doubt they will sprout.

That’s not true, bro. I have a keeper which i germinated about 11 years ago and the cut still performs as it did a decade ago. Another keeper of mine from seed is about 9 years old and grows just as well as during the first time I bloomed her. And I’m not even a great grower and bit of a lazy one, so I’m sure real pros can keep plants going for a very long time.
..iirc, I think Sam Skunkman has stated that some of his clones are almost 30 years old.

Peace.

Shoreline has to be one of the biggest trade bait cuts around for the past couple years. Any shoreline cut any of my homies have picked up over the years have either been fakes or bunk. Some of these fake cuts made it far enough to get into the hands of breeders as well.

The road kill is a holy grail these days, it's been good catching up on this thread. The last one I tried was the Reserva Privada RKS. My review, having cleaned skunk off a dog 3 times this year, none of them hit the RKS I remember form the Santa Cruz foothills. Guessing they made some sort of F2 but not sure. They had a lot of variance, a high leaf to calyx ratio for a skunk plant, but one hit 29% THC with a nice sativa dom buzz. All and all a waste of time imo.

The only RKS plants I've had are just unexpected phenotypes from other strains. The most RKS I've had for example was a mutant Hempstar plant from Dutch Passion when it was first released, the rest were on the sweet side.

Best of luck to the RKS hunters out there.

Yea, people might run into trouble with keeping clones in humid and warm areas where there are all kinds of pathogens and insects flying around the whole year, but here in the north the winter kills most of the nasties for a good while. Around here, if you can keep your grow area bug free during the summer then it’s all good and all you have to worry about is the dry and cold winter air.

Here’s a link to that Baglung Nepali thread. Wish I would have taken more photos of the whole plants

There is no Shoreline Amphitheater in Houston. It was called Texas Shoreline because, have you ever been to the beach near Houston? It stinks.

The cut in Colorado is from a grower who had the original cut obtained from a couple of guys in Houston who had the real deal for years. Before he left TX for CO, he hit the cut with a Deadhead OG male. This is how Shoreline OG was born.

It's been back crossed over a couple of generations and improved in seed form. I run the original unimproved cutting and it's definitely got the roadkill aroma and taste like everyone is looking for, but it's also got subtle citrus undertones. It's not super-duper loud but it does smell through your pocket in public.

I've been growing it for about 3 or 4 years now and I keep it going because I crave the smell and taste so much. I haven't tried the backcrosses yet but they are said to improve the flower density. The buds I've grown are always on the larger side but they can be a little too airy in comparison to modern strains.

it doesn’t look frosty enough or BLD enough from what I was told after sharing pics with a friend that grew and has grown the shoreline for a very very long time
