Rippers are scum. :mooning:

This person has his own plants now so maybe he'll stop stealing.

Don't forget that it's your friend who showed the neighbor the plants in the 1st place.

Step 1: Pick out a bud of top quality stuff from either your or the neighbors stash.

Step 2: Have the neighbor burn the bud with the ripper. During the session have him talk about how easy it was to grow, how he got 2x the yield he ever thought possible, no pest, no mold, gives great blowjobs, etc. Basically get the ripper to desperately want the seeds.

Step 3: Give the ripper a dozen hemp seeds and tell him good luck.

I would get drunk as hell and accidentally stumble into his plants crushing them to the ground while pretending to be looking for my dog.

The guy planted on someone else's land. What he planted belongs to the guy who owns the land. Seems strange to me that people are calling the wrong guy a thief. I use what you own without your permission, I'm the thief. Not even a little bit complicated.

I found 75 plants growing on my land a couple years ago (i have 500 acres of bush). I didn't touch them because... they were not mine. But by your reasoning, i should have taken them all? I don't agree.

What i wanted to do was leave him a big ol Facebook thumbs up sign.

The guy was stealing from you - up to you how you deal with it, or not, but that doesn't change the basic equation. If you're in a place that growing is illegal, the squatter increased your legal jeopardy. My only point is that if you choose to take other's resources you can't expect to treated as if you're in an ethically defensible position.

He planted on neighbors property. Neighbor took plants. Lesson learned, don't plant on other people's property. If you do they might get taken.

This is cut and dry stuff. Why would he retaliate when he was in the wrong?

Also a point taken away for telling the guy.

Respect thy neighbor.

Even if he's the only one who knew, the only person for miles around, unless he's seen or filmed you can't know for certain. A guy I knew had his grow room broken into, a serious indoor crop. He blamed his friends who knew about the room, accused them of the theft. 6 months later his 15 year old son admitted to doing it. By then it was too late, his friends didn't appreciate being blamed for a theft, no more friends.

Especially it being a neighbor, I wouldn't fuck around with that sort of petty shit. If he really is certain and wants to teach the guy a lesson, cut one and leave it there just to let him know he could do it but he's not going to. I probably wouldn't even do that, I like having good relations with neighbors even if they're assholes. The karma of fucking with other's plants will always bite you even if you feel justified.

The right thing to do is to forgive him. And, this year when you harvest your crop, take some nice buds over to him and tell him you just appreciate him for being your neighbor and a fellow human being.

Not what I would do. But, it's a thought.

He's lucky he didn't mess around with mobsters in the movie Goodfellas. :hide:

He would have been told:

So your crop died because spider mites ate all your plants. Phuck you pay me.

So a lightning strike fried your ballast and burned your house down. Phuck you pay me.

So the RCMP raided you and you think it's all over. Phuck you pay me.

Im a big believer old mate will get his own by his own hand. Stealing from a neighbour is rock bottom. Ive seen neighbourly disputes cause real problems.

But if i absolutely had to be the hand of karma itd be a big double handful of sulphur watered in round each plant.

I used to spend a lot of time in the woods, and found plenty of plants. Always left them alone, mostly because I likely knew who they belonged to. Been ripped off too, and by someone I knew. I contemplated revenge in various forms. I could have beat them stupid, or done any number of shitty things. I just let it go. Being the assholes they were, karma eventually took care of it for me. Let it go. People eventually get what they deserve, and usually by their own hand.

It sucks some of the shit that goes down because of Pot Plants. People that don't grow have weird ideas about Plants. They always think that The Grower gets their weed for free and that they have lots of it. They don't realize all the work, expenses and experience it takes just to grow weed successfully. I hate people that Rip Off other people's plants...
I have been ripped off 2 times inside and 3 times outside. I used to get everyone high & people knew I grew. The guy that broke in my house (twice) eventually went to jail for being a thief. The one time I had a partner in growing - is no longer my friend - Him & His brother ripped my (our) plants a month early. It took awhile but I got the story out of both of them. Now they are both "shunned"...
Another time I got ripped because I put plants in "the open" & the other time was in the swamp for just a few plants that I left in too long - I think a Hunter got them. The spots I got ripped - I have never used again & I moved out from the House I got ripped shortly afterwards. Do I Rip other people's plants? No... I say don't be a Ripper & don't change Yourself for others. Have Pride...

I dried my first outdoor at someone's house, that said it shrunk to nothing. I expected an ounce or something. Time goes by, and somebody else is telling me how good it was, because he took it to their house. Further down the road, he tried his own outdoor. He actually lost his plants. Couldn't find them. So I went up, ripped them, dried them, cured them for months, and gave him his crop he lost. Not even a spliff missing. Told him I was better than that. Which to that sociopath meant something quite different, but my peer group liked it.
