A friend grew a few plants in the bush behind a neighbors house. The idiot showed the neighbor. Just before harvest, the neighbor ripped his plants. Lol

Now that it legal this year, the neighbor planted his 4 plants. Should they be ripped as payback?

Personally, I'd let it go, but i have lots of weed.

He shouldn't have showed him,I personally would chalk it up to being my fault for trusting the neighbor. But bad shit happens to people for less.I wouldnt RIP his plants as payback, you might tell him to buy a few gallons of round up,that'll leave the thief scratching his head.Especially funny if their was a hidden cam to catch his reaction. To me that would be sufficient payback

If your Friend planted on someone Else property he cant complain.

If not and he s 100% Sure who did it..... payback

personally I can't fathom justice like that but since you put it out there I will say is if the guy was so selfish to steal why wouldn't he report theft of legal property?

I can appreciate wanting to get some return after such a thing but imho the best return is realizing how it happened in the first place.

Apparently you, your friend and your neighbor spoke about or consumed together?

Your friend broke rule #1.. don't tell anyone about a grow.

Your neighbor broke trust.. or someone he told did.

I'd leave his plants alone, but would cut him from my circle.. no lighting up, grow advice, chit chat. I'd have nothing to do with him.. let him figure out why if he doesn't have the balls to ask what's up.

Thieves should be shunned, don't lower yourself to that level.

Leave the plants and beat him until his face is pulp.

But I would have done that the day they were ripped, if knew 100% who did it and they were over 18.

What if the neighbor had an epiphany, saw the errors of his ways and is growing these plants to give to the offended party as a way of recompense?

No? Really? I mean people believe in DT, so why not...

Maybe next year he can grow some plants for you to rip and you can grow some plants for him to rip. Then everyone can be happy.

Maybe plant a few for the mystery thief just in case he exists.

I wouldn't stoop to his level, but you can still mess with him. Tell him your going to take them as payback. He will end up being paranoid for the rest of the season, while wasting his time watching them.

...

I don't smoke. I grow. Even this friend doesn't know i grow. I have to sit and bite my tongue when he talks about how to grow. Lol

If you're camping with your buddies and the say "there's the brightest star in the sky", I'm not going to be a buzz kill and say "no it isn't. It's Sirius and you can't even see it at this time of year."

Yes. I told him he shouldn't even have told me. But... you know... ego, excitement, whatever.

Absolutely. No one else around for miles.

Before doing anything rash, the friend could of just mentioned some plants to someone and then they said something to someone....

I got busted many years back and pretty much knew who told on me. I did not in fact know who did it and that held me back. Even if you know, you are then dealing with the law after. Is it worth it? Most cases, no.
