Some how - we have to keep ICMAG growing and vibrant today and into the coming era - I wish it could be done without having to use funds to do it - but alas - money talks and pays the bills to keep the site here for you all - whether you become a subscriber or not - I still have to pay - so that you can play - learn and enjoy the site - into the future - every little bit helps us to do this - so why not help us - as we help you? -
If I can turn things around and get Mugwump Genetics off the ground I will gladly contribute. I'm still hurting going on two years after the last sledgehammer of oppression.
Anyway, this is Sam's thread so I will get to that later. You are right to think of the new era. There's so much this new generation needs to learn. He was the father of the genetics and kids now have never heard of him. From now on my Skunk#1 x Chocolope is going to called The Watson. It's not next on my list but I do miss the buzzes. I don't want to waste that shit in VA. I might need help.

Sam - (David Watson) - was always a friend to me - met him for the first time around the millennium - when I was on a mission to grow more growers - and he supplied me with many kilos of Skunk#1 - Skunk#1 x Haze - and Skunk#1 x Thai seeds - at such a very reasonable price - that I decided to give them away as freebies - with any and every order - thru my business called Seedsdirect at the time - and all who grew these seeds were very happy with the results - over several years - often I was told that these freebies were much better than whatever seeds were ordered - and when in Amsterdam I would often meet him over his place or at a coffee shop to chat about cannabis - he was the first guy to introduce me to CBD - when one day he asked me to toke on some dry sift trichomes that he told me wouldn't get me high - but might help any aches and pains I might have to go away - and surely enough - he was right -

Sam (Dave) - was so instrumental in helping to develop the cannabis industry we know of today - thru his studies - books and seeds - that I can't think of anyone who has made a greater contribution - and he will be sorely missed - not only on ICMAG - but throughout the whole wide world -

My most sincere condolences go out to his beautiful wife and family - who must know by now that Sam (David Watson) - was most certainly a great man - and loved by so many - for his life long dedication to cannabis - and helping the world to understand this very misunderstood plant - and I thank him - from the bottom of my heart -

RIP SAM - 🙏
Thank you, Gypsy, This is Diana, David's wife. We're devastated. Did you hear our daughters speak at his memorial? I want to get in touch with you but don't have your contact details and can't find them on David's lap top. Since you interviewed him you must have been in touch but I don't know how. Is there someone here in Amsterdam that has your email or phone?

RIP, David. You’ll never be forgotten because you are a legend of the sacred plant, a legend of hashish, and perhaps the greatest legend in the industry. I’m honored to have met you in person and even had the chance to collaborate with you back in 2016.

Fly high, Skunkman!

My first post here, despite being registered since 2008… and I couldn’t think of a more meaningful reason to finally post.
That says a lot. Thank you.
