Some how - we have to keep ICMAG growing and vibrant today and into the coming era - I wish it could be done without having to use funds to do it - but alas - money talks and pays the bills to keep the site here for you all - whether you become a subscriber or not - I still have to pay - so that you can play - learn and enjoy the site - into the future - every little bit helps us to do this - so why not help us - as we help you? -

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity this site provides- when my ship comes in I will support financially but for now I will keep on posting the grow diaries and trying to add content.
Thank you @Gypsy Nirvana for keeping this place alive :tiphat:

Did you ever contact OpenAI or Anthropic about letting them use your entire site for data harvesting?

The New York Times is suing openAI for unauthorized data scraping/harvesting:

You could approach openAI and other AI developers and discuss fees for scraping your site or a more enticing alternative would be to have them port their chatGPT app to the ICM website and have it specifically use data from ICM to answer questions. That way newbies, for a _fee_ paid to ICMAG of course, could ask questions to this specific ICM chatGPT app/portal and be able to utilize the 20+ years of experience / data contained on your site for the correct answer.

Just a thought.

DeepSeek will be difficult to sue, servers are in China.

Sam - (David Watson) - was always a friend to me - met him for the first time around the millennium - when I was on a mission to grow more growers - and he supplied me with many kilos of Skunk#1 - Skunk#1 x Haze - and Skunk#1 x Thai seeds - at such a very reasonable price - that I decided to give them away as freebies - with any and every order - thru my business called Seedsdirect at the time - and all who grew these seeds were very happy with the results - over several years - often I was told that these freebies were much better than whatever seeds were ordered - and when in Amsterdam I would often meet him over his place or at a coffee shop to chat about cannabis - he was the first guy to introduce me to CBD - when one day he asked me to toke on some dry sift trichomes that he told me wouldn't get me high - but might help any aches and pains I might have to go away - and surely enough - he was right -

Sam (Dave) - was so instrumental in helping to develop the cannabis industry we know of today - thru his studies - books and seeds - that I can't think of anyone who has made a greater contribution - and he will be sorely missed - not only on ICMAG - but throughout the whole wide world -

My most sincere condolences go out to his beautiful wife and family - who must know by now that Sam (David Watson) - was most certainly a great man - and loved by so many - for his life long dedication to cannabis - and helping the world to understand this very misunderstood plant - and I thank him - from the bottom of my heart -

RIP SAM - 🙏
Sams contributions to cannabis genetics are unparalleled and never will be equaled. The free Skunk#1 was a gift from heaven and it lives on in my genetics that I cherish and have always cherished. Even if I lost the Royal Skunk ( ...free and easy the way it's supposed to be...)to coppers I am damn grateful to have it in my stuff. Dave Watson is a legend. I am so sad to hear this. I don't even know what to say...
