i never thought of Orielly as a 'right winger' lol.
But then I think Fox News is only a wee bit to the right.
He did a good show. thousands of bots posting and tweeting to his advertisers were too much for them to bear.
I used to bitch about oreilly about half the time. he was a bit of a centrist and never took the hard line conservative position.
that's why guys like me read the posts here and go 'wtf?!?'

Hahaha! It truly is hilarious, but my favorite part is the fade out, where he throws his pencil across the room, whips his jacket around, and storms out, all the while his lips are flapping, raging on, but the sound faded out long before, so its like an infants temper tantrum in mute...

One of the things I notice about the big earning talking heads is their enunciation and speaking voice.
Rush Limbaugh is a good example of this. I don't listen to him enough to know if it was a gradual process or a sudden change in technique.
I remember driving the 5 corridor in California listening to Limbaugh, and his extreme care, when speaking, to make all his 's' sounds. If you have to listen to that for hours, it sends you looking for the Mexican music channels !
That plus his baritone voice, his allegiance to core Washington politics, and his intelligence so he can blend that all into something like a Show - well, it's not surprising he got a $400 million 8 year contract.
Just for talking sh-t on the radio and handing out free Apple stuff !

I hope you don't mind but I broke your post down to the above. Seems that statement pertains to nearly everything posted here or anywhere for the most part.
Having said that, discussion/debate is very quickly becoming a lost art. One of our most important groups, Congress, hasn't debated in years. It's been more of who's in charge dictating to the minority party what's gonna happen. Same for state legislatures. Seems as if they've lost their way from working for the people to pandering for votes from their perspective parties/supporters.
