people on rfid message boards are talking about it like it's a great interesting technology. I guess some people dont mind there privacy being invaded.

This is evil, evil control-based technology that Herr Mustache and Herr Himmler would have creamed their uniforms for........way more efficient that tattoos, now, isn't it......

it's a useful technology that needs very strict regulation in order to perserve personal liberty.

It's being used by pharmacutical companies already to keep track of shipments and assure that counterfit meds dont enter the marketplace(they attach it to the pallets not in the pills)

it's also being used already for cargo container shipment, arms shipments and a myraid of other high security uses.

in short it's a double edged sword, it's useful and we need to recognize that, but we need to understand that it needs careful regulation. I would never wear an article of clothing that has an RFID chip in it, but I'm glad that fake meds are not getting people sick.

oh ok so your going to hand-knit all of your clothing? because if you continue to be a consumer they can and they will install these chips in your clothing, and eventually your body. were all going to have chips implanted in our hand and there is not a goddamn thing one of us can do about it. its nice to think that its "useful". if our goal is to reach the end of times then ok, its usefull, fuckin whatever.

if need be then yes I will knit my own clothes. I support RFID for nonpersonal tracking, it does wonders for warehouse inventory and keeping track of everything by the pallet, however I will not support the tagging of individual items as this to me at least violates personal liberties.

most everything has 2 sides, one we may not like at all, the other may be very beneficial. like everything balance is key, RFID is no different, it needs to be regulated so that it cannot violate personal liberties but it is a useful technology.

it was created to violate us and invade our privacy. how can you make a good thing out of something created for evil? fuck inventory, i work retail and i can say part of my job is to keep on top of inventory, and i dont have a damn problem with it because thats what i get paid to do. lets not sell our souls to the devil now. at least i wont.

Wow good thing I get my clothes in Mexico, but I mean this little chip would surely be able to be disabled or broken some way, I read that they already put some in some Levi jeans and shipped them out in undisclosed location. Once they start doing it in more and more clothes, Im positive there will be methods coming out on how to disable, get rid of, and or break the chip. I wonder how long the chip works underwater for?

Dont forget that other people, not including us tokers, wont like this idea so personally Im not worrying too much.

Revelation Ch. 14 verse 16

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to recieve the mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."

All I can say is...when somebody pops up on the scene that seems to have all the answers to the world's problems..and then tries to give us this mark..head for the hills kid!

some people are quite happy to have everything known about them. Anyone who has seen the visa ad's where they keep an eye out for you and still has their visacard is such a person. Anyone who believes in "loyalty" programs is also such a person.

it will be great for people who shop in boutiques because the sales assistants will be able to look down their noses at you because your jeans are now 1 year old..... thats so last season.....the rfid in your clothes will tell them that

It will be great because when I go to the market with my "loyalty" program buyers card they will be instantly alerted to my arrival and they can pull up my complete buying history....... the dog food for the dog, the softdrink I buy, the toothpaste I use.....

and they will know how much I paid for each of those items..... if I have bought the product at varying prices they will know I am more brand loyal than I am price sensitive... so they can set the price to the upper level for that product and display it on the LED price ticket on the shelf.

They can tag that I took the product off the shelf.... they do this already... gillette are big on this.... and when I get to the register they know I arrived and what I should have in my cart......infact they don't even need to scan all of the products because they already know whats there..... and RFID can just do a zap anyway and all the rfid's on the products will respond.

In the UK they are giving the police handheld biometric scanners.... fingerprint scanners..... they are also going to be empowered to demand the fingerprint of any "citizen" at anytime for ID checks.

In Australia they are producing a biometric RFID powered identity card. This card must be produced to any representative of the Government on demand. This also empowers any Government representative with warrantless enter and seizure powers on any "customer" who has been issued the card. As all "citizens" are issued the card, warrantless search and siezure rules affect everyone there.

plenty of good stuff coming up. I for one am not going queitly. I do not intend to make it easy for them. I do not subscribe to credit cards, loyalty programs or any other system of personal consumer identity. I do not dispose of any paper waste that has my name or address on it.... all gets mulched... anything that can be of any use to anyone gets mulched or pulped.....

anyone notice that all paper has a platic coating on it now?.... try and soak a piece of paper over night and see the results.

anywho.... 1984 is a comin under the guise of terrorism..... plot or opportunity is the question?

peace

I purchased the book "spychips" and after reading up to the 3rd chapter. I think its safe to say were fucked. Hey good luck guys, the government and corporations are about to gain total control of all of us and we gotta hate it or love it, but we cannot change it. This has been infront of my face for years i just couldnt pinpoint what was going on. I felt a major change happening, and now i know and want to vomit. enjoy the new world everyone. right now its a matter of acceptance or denial. which one do you choose?
