i wonder what is up with people wanting to know what are other people doing? these can be said to be 'nosy technologies of the fearful ones who love gossip, extortion and manipulation'
i also wonder what much can they do by knowing my whereabouts and habits, afterall, if they would want me dead for x or y reason or would want to capture me, they would most likely be able to achieve it already as it is, without the need of a chip.
i think what chaoticentity points out is very thoughtful, because he is seeing the positive and helpful potential applications for these technologies; the thing is, as we know, technology is mostly mis-applied causing a lot of rockus. a lot has to do with how one uses the tools one has. i bet you would love to be wearing boots that had such a chip if you got lost out in the ocean or in the mountains.
much peace!
