Greetings from panama...... via South Texas. A few developing buds. Smells dark and rich, kind of a spicy currant. Almost a chocolate but not quite. Unless of course, it's my fingers I smell.

mango hz x mullum/widow
mhz_x_mm_ww.jpg

Hi e.T, good luck with mango hz x mullum/widow, I should warn you that they take some selection, I've had a couple that were devastating in power and length of high, but tbh 75% have been unremarkable. I'm also enthused to see someone run the super Laos, it will be fascinating to see how you handle the extreme sativa expression. In terms of vigor I've not seen anything like it apart from Kanga's run of Hmong Thai. Compared to mullums the vigor is 1.5 x. In the pics of the male plant below, these are just side branches the main stem was long gone by then...

The super is a bit of a pun on Nevil .
Every thing is super . Super Skunk , Super Kush . So why not Super Laos ? he he .

Apparently it was some hybrid that was circulating in Thailand . Heavier body stone than the regular Laos brick . Bigger seeds too .

Hi EB, the super Laos = definitely NOT a hybrid, I didn't have much luck with them, but I did take a male the distance in an attempt to pollinate a haze and MM; the difficulty was the male Laos didn't start flowering until the haze and MM females were almost finished!! That's unparalleled lateness in my experience. Also the seeds weren't that big, no different to MM or Hmong...

In the end I was lucky to score some MMxLaos, MMxHaze and HazexLaos seeds. Laos vs. Haze leaves...

That`s not Super Laos ! 555 .

Yes Wal said similar . Not a hyb to his eyes .
I was going on the descriptions of the effects from BLB and Prof . They both said it was stronger and a greater body effect from the Super Laos .

No real way to tell by looking at the bricks . They squash the herb real good . I steamed a little bit and reconstituted it . Very fine little stems and calyxes .
20 bucks an 0z no use complaining .

Thanks for sharin

EB .

This is been done in smaller pots, no much else to see but pop corn :)
Another different Punto Rojo accessions start flower so wish I can pic some more and better pics later
Not comparison with yield of your shinny Oaxaca, just delicate calyxes and no "meat" to crush too much. I even stopped counting weeks any more

its always terrific to see you work, always very impressive. Pic below was from seed gifted to me labeled Punta Roju. Is Punta Rojo different or my seed maybe mislabeled? Bud below was harvested at 14 weeks I had two females and one male. One Female was tossed it grew lighter than feathers. The one I kept had very nice compact structure. Though I did not take pics of plant in growth the bud below was the result.PUNTA PUNTA ROJU 037.jpgROJU 017.jpg

Beautiful bud , reminiscent of some old Nyc Haze

I'm very curious as to taste aromas effects

I'd imagine it's a misspelling, I've seen Punto rojo spelled a few different ways . What was your source ? I'm Interested in any background info

Btw I appreciate you sharing your lovely sativas
