Molokai frost reveg. I love the coco-mint smells she gives off.

(Congolese x oregon Purple thai)Pure Haze: Growing nicely, star leaves like the opt and more serrated than the congo.

Thanks you guys! Although, I foresee them stretching far beyond the space limit, not sure about what will happen when they hit the plastic covering, i would imagine bud mold...maybe its not the right strategy, but...cross that bridge...

So those freaky looking things actually look quite a lot like what my Frost Monster will end up looking like: willowy flowing and HANGING buds covered in trichs.

Because, guess why, the mom is Destroyer! which I know is one of those plants in your post.... and I happened to get a very freaky thai pheno just like that one and made it a mom. Very cool results.
Very cool plant, BR. The above pic reminds me of a Floyd cover

Few Qs-
Any thoughts on turning her into a hash monster?
How long does she take to finish?
How's the high?

enjoy!

yeah she is a good hash producer, high quantity and quality, but not the BEST for a BHO distillation, her internal resin content does not exactly match her frost coverage. The high is of phenomenal quality but not as strong as the bag appeal would suggest, again a function of internal resin content. A very clear effect, perfect after breakfast smoke, pretty classic. This pheno shows up in about 20% of individuals from this seed run, so with more selection and generations I will hopefully be able to improve the strength of the high and maintain the qualities therein. This individual has been kept around because I love her growth pattern/look, and the effect has desirable qualities that don't take over your chosen activities.

sometimes that's all you need, something to enhance your enjoyment. you're spot on with the resin content.. I pointed out to a friend of mine who showed me a picture of another super frosty bud that most of the Trichomes were stalks and not bulbous.

You could go for something that literally drips with resin, like some north indian or nepalese hashplants but in my opinion those plants make lousy herbal smokes in quality, almost only good for hash production.

In it's effect, Ace Panama is one of the more sativa leaning individuals in my collection, with denser buds than my afghan pheno of NYCD and a clearer high than the more airy haze individuals I have at the moment. Not boring but my gf wont let me smoke it when im with her because she says it makes me 'mean'. The reality is it makes me trip out and creates a massive schism between my immediate reality and hers...it becomes difficult to express myself in a way that actually reflects how positive I feel. Some great weed!

come on Tom....haven't you enjoyed the trippy Oaxacan or Sinaloan before?

Hi Madjag

The southern varieties like Oaxacan aren't as tight as the ones I am talking about. I mean the kinds from the north that grow more like broadleaves. They are darker green, shorter, sport a main cola, finish in Oct in AZ, and have density similar to the WLD varieties that people tend to call "indica". Sinaloa does (used to anyway) have some, but most I saw came from Sonora and Chihuahua, Durango too.

,,,and they are boring as hell..

Hi Tom

Sadly, this is true. They have great form, habit, maturation time, resin, some are pretty potent, but they taste bad and have a shitty high. They combine OK I guess, if you put some Thai pollen or something similar on them it comes out pretty good.

Hello sativa lovers!:tiphat:

I'm just curious, but if you had to describe this girl solely by her look, how would you call that,a sativa or indica?

Highland Mexican/Blueberry

There are Mexican varieties that have rock hard buds. Big ones.

Snowcap Seeds worked with a (so called), Acapulco Gold, that looks like the real deal - (from his pictures on the internet) ;-). Chimera's Highland Guerrero phenos from his Highland Mexican/Blueberry are very wispy buds and sativa enough for my tastes. I'd like to purchase Snowcap Seeds ~ Acapulco Gold x whatever. Highland Mexican is not easy to grow in a cabinet.

Molokai frost, showing vigor. Will be crossing this lady to a nice thai82 and a kerala sativa.

This is a pck x oth reveg. She didn't yield much but I really liked her flavor and smooth high. The buds were pretty with purple streaks.

Last but not least, (Congolese x Opt)Haze: I need to come up with a name. Growing nice and fast. Fruity smell on the stem.

I find Ace seeds' Malawi & Zamaldelica also to have kinda big buds.
You have to be patient to harvest them, but in the end you get something in return that is worth to wait for. If you are patient of course. If you're not it's better to grow something which has a shorter flowering time.
