Hello folks!

Tall plants with thin stems and heavy colas are a recipe for disaster if not stable.

In order to add some stability I use a simple method similar to radio antennas.

To save words I rather show you what I do to correct that problem:

I am a MMJ patient from WA state now living in Costa Rica. Two years ago I had the chance of ordering some White Widow and Bubblegum seeds from Europe.

Out of some purple Bubblegum and lanky White Widow came a plant that I"ve kept as a mother. She grows Sativa like and produces nice dark purple buds with red hairs. Smoke reminds sandalwood and frankincense. Effects come after a minute and creep into sharpen senses (eyes and ears very sensitive), stimulation, lust and it beats Viagra. Too much and you get a little anxious and paranoia might set if at the grow room.

Here are pictures of my last run:

Here's some giant outdoor sativas from Australian sativa breeder/grower Kangativa. His strains include southeast Asian landrace sativas from Indonesia and Thailand and a stabilized line of Mullumbimby Madness dating back to the early eighties. Kangativa's Mullum Madness has also been crossed to a variety of plants including Oaxacan Gold, NothernCal skunk and various early Dutch Haze hybrids from Neville and Shantibaba. The quality of these plants speak for themselves.

Wow, amazing plants , congratulations.

the only two other strains that I've seen grow like the above are the Durban Poison plant I saw in the chaps backyard. It had a trunk, not a stem lol and the other was also in durban, but this time is was a native Swazi. 20 foot easily

Do the number of fingers have anything to do with anything but largeness?

I remember growing Sativas back in the early 80's that had 13. And I don't mean those "backward" fingers that start growing on top of other fingers. These were 13 fingered counting across. All in a row.

It was wicked shit to smoke, I was just wondering if it had to do with potency or just because they were huge...12+ ft. I had them in the San Bernardino mountains...just into the foothills. I had a perfect spot...year round spring, enough green to hide some plants among. A real pain in the ass...and scary...to get to. I'd plant seedlings I hiked up with in March and let them grow. I never went back until August or September...I can't remember. Just before they flowered. They'd be 12 foot easy. I'd have to jump up to grab a branch to pull down to look at the bud. I'd get 3-4 decent harvests too. From that wild and scary rushing high to a one hit sleeping pill...it all depended on how "ugly" it was getting...by the time it was all yellow, purple, and nasty, it was knockout weed.

Anyway...those were good times...and great weed.
