Thanks Bacchus.
I encourage these little suckers to come around and set up shop near my plants. Silk (Banana) spiders are a great natural pest control.
They seem to like cannabis and spin their webs around my plants.
I have an army of spiders...they're my primary predators.I have ZERO bug problems.

Hi all

Beutiful plants and pics everyone!

Here are some updates from the guerrilla here :D

This one of the phenos we are running outdoors , the earlier planted Neville'sHaze x MangoHaze . She was taken out late May. The photo below was taken 8th of July / two months ago and the plant was topped once early on and was pruned once heavily late July. Now the plant is over 3.5-4 meters with multiple tops , and has started to flower.

You too lasko  Looking stunning btw.. But you already knew it mi brethren!!!

Gonna PM you today when I come back from city;)

RollmeoneKenobi: Impossible to say is it related to famous Oaxacan IMHO :chin: Would need much accurate information.. Dozens of generations of backcrossing, hmm.. I have seen a buddy grown these bout 4 years back, germ rate wasnt great and the plants did have lots of phenotypical variation, every bean that survived from 2 packs was female :chin: There was couple plants that took about 12-14 weeks to mature and one that did go 15 weeks and maybe more but it ended culled, others wasnt looking like a pure Mexican sativa, but more like they were hybridized at some point and were ready in 8-9 weeks and those were most of the plants..

If you are looking for stable seedline of authentic inbred sativa genetics, this one isnt for you;) If you like me and love the variety, then maybe, but theres lots of interesting stuff at seedbay auctions;) Check breeders like ACE, Cannabiogen & Marijuanamat if you want 100 % sativas, it´s amazing how much work them Spanish guys have done to just preserve these amazing lines, I mean they start from scratch (landrace seeds) and breed them for years + they let the plants do the talk, not like so many other so called "breeders" who cross existing hybrids, with other hybrids and release them with hype, untested to the community :2cents:

Btw.. Im not in any way an expert when it comes to authentic Mexican varieties, but Oaxaca is a pretty large region with beautiful/bountiful natural resources and there is many local strains, at least there was before cartels started to induce dutch hybrids for shorter flowering :fsu: Im sure there are still some of those legendary varieties growing in Mexico & Oaxaca, but in the hands of true cultivators & Indians who keep those lines as pure as possible, but to find them is another BIG task with nada connections..

I also find it weird that Nirvana collective breeders havent documented their "years of inbreeding" better, not a single picture can be found, at least I didnt find while taking a quick look....

Check the "Vintage Cannabis photography thread", started by 4seasons and you see some wise Americans have kept these lines pure for years;)

Maybe some "Mexican expert" will chime in and point you to better direction...

Hiya --- thanks for the kind words... I was more proud of the Lebanese from earlier on --- 50cm tall "sativa", now come on that's cooler isn't it? heheh but anyway...

Kerala tops out at about 2m... older growers have confirmed to me that is how it has always been

Buds are minty pungent, small calyxes, irregular branching plants, bamboo like leaves - high is potent, heady and energising... small calyx size is said to be quite dominant in crosses

Grown in the South Indian highlands called the Western Ghats - heavy monsoon area

I am told Sam Skunkman used Keralan genetics in his working of the Haze lines

I doubt there is any reverse Haze contamination of Keralan genetics

There are two main cultivar types in Kerala and the Ghats these days --- a high yielding commercial earlier finisher - ready in December, and a later higher quality finisher, more like Jan-Feb time

Haze Mist and Kerala Haze are a cross of Sam's Original Haze with his pure Kerala... I would also like to grow that line one day... a friend has crossed a male of the Kerala Haze to the Mazar-i-Sharif I collected... should make for an amazing plant

Is that the sativa leaning pheno of the Mazar I Shariff? Sounds like a good cross with the Kerala mist or was it Kerala Haze?

I have a Lebanese sativa very short and very thin leaves, hasn't sexed yet but soon I believe here in the Northern hemisphere.

Peace Ngakpa,

Thanks for the photos and your knowledge.

I think TFD Haze Mist and SamS Cultivator's Choice Kerala Haze are the same line sold under different names --- this happens a lot I think

I'm not sure which Mazar-i-Sharif phenos my friend dusted --- but he described them as very big yielders with dense hashy buds and good potency... I think the idea was for them to be outdoor plants for 19 degrees N, a relatively dry air region of the tropics

Here are some pics of The Real Seed Co Lebanese - September 13th, colours and buds developing

Highland Oaxacan Gold again outdoors in the UK at 53° - it's actually moving into flower-mode now, amazingly, so who knows - I might actually get a smoke out of this...:)
