African Herb - that swazi #2 pic is sweet. Interesting DP pheno...mine werejust two long colas...smoke was a 6 at best. Was from dutch passion. The leaf patttern is there for sure - that big huge 3 fingered leaf, I'd know it anywhere

Well she got 2 more months and if I don't see a big improvement in that time she's gone. Coming from Jack Herer I thought there where no bad genes or phenotypes?

LOL ya I don't have to worry about local law. I'm going to turn on my Co2 at 1800ppm for the next 2 months. It will help my other strains I have going. I have more JH beans I only did 5 3 males 2 females both females where this pheno.

@ hammer head.

Nah, jack herer is great. It has many great phenos, even the indica phenos are very like-able. But it is still a very unstable polyhybrid. I takes a good bit of searching too especially if you start getting into the hazier side of the gene pool.

That is one of the reasons folks like jack is some of the quicker indica phenos have a nice hazey enough high. But it is still a strain that takes a lot of selection and it's famous for that too. Especially the further we get from it's original release date.

Have you tried a tester nug yet, hammerhead? It might not give you an idea of the quality of the high, but it should let you know if you're growing hay.

Its way to immature to test anything on her.

Motaco would you consider the haze pheno of Jh an elite strain? I'm going to dust here with Deep Chunk Pollen. Opinions

Now where have I seen those before :chin: ???

Good luck with the new oaxa crosses EM. Thx again
Hi rabid - good to hear from you, and glad you've popped in, as another member was asking me about the Oaxacans, and I couldn't remember if you mentioned them in a thread or a PM. They were fine as I remember? No hermies?

Wow rabid - I just found this Oaxacan S1 in your album, which almost looks like the illustration of 'Mexican' in Marijuana Botany - nice one! :)

They were more than a pleasure to grow, EM. No hermies, nice calyx to leaf ratio and didn't care if I fed 'em heavy, lightly or not at all haha. But most of the credit goes to my climate...It's hard not to grow nice plants where I am--except for the 5-month monsoon season :(

You might see these show up in some grow reports soon as I've made some trades recently...I'm going to get back into 'em next October when the rains stop.

PS One of the Thai Stick Thai's is 12' tall and still needs another month or so of flower...:yoinks:

That looks pretty similar to a Mexican I have.

I need to get another cut of the HOG, loved it the first time I ran it and it yields immense.

@hammerhead. Well I don't know what anyone else would call an elite but a good jack herer is a good haze. And that is some of the finest weed a guy can have. I really like the indica phenos too. As far as if it's better than SSH or something similar I can't say. But regardless of the actual strain the important thing is finding a good hazy pheno. Which jack definitely has, but so do other strains.
