That looks spectacular B B
It's also impressive you are working that line, anyone can grow a great plant but the skill is in the breeding. nice work!

very enjoyable making seed , possibly more addictive than the growing itself .

has any body had much experience with Nigerian? i see a few breeders using it for hybrids .

i have few seed of the new swamp boys nigerians x,s on the way , there work is always super frosty , so i,m hoping to get nice male and use it .

i,m thinking since its been used by few breeders the strain itself might be pretty nice ?

Weedtoker thanks for what you said about bag appeal I am 68 and all the bs at the local dispensaries really gets me pissed , they have really forgotten about affect with there pretty buds

Yesum Nigerian was grown by a friend n Mendocino County in a greenhouse , small buds that were very sweet and potent but it ripens to late for our simple plastic covered greenhouses late November it can get down to 30 degrees

Vermontman I was shown a bud of the Barney's Acapulco Gold it looked and smelled like Trainwreck or catpiss . My Bohdi plants are outside in 4 inch containers right next to clones of the Barney's strain in 1 gallon pots . The Bohdi males will take a while to show sex , the Barney's are just starting to flower .we need to legalize pollen .

Hey bigmotaman
Would love to see update pictures.

LAOS

LAOS

Yes i noted the double serations too ,,
seems not to be that uncommon in se asian ,
ive seen it before ...

Not from a seedbank dirt life ,
they were sent to me from thailand ,
they came from one of those fat red stringed thai sticks ,
we suspect originated in laos ...
the guy said its the strongest sativa he has had ,
and hes no stranger to strong sativa ..

Loas smoke is powerfull. It will give you headrush to knees buckling everytime. Can I hit you up for a few of those beans, Wally. Talking with the vets and lets just say, its in demand.

My neighbor has some seeds he got off of a brick that came from central America. He hasn't got any of the seeds to germ yet I don't think. gonna have to check again.

They never did get enough sun to reach full potential here at 43north. But a fun grow. Don't know how much average I got per plant. Maybe 2 lbs of top. Grown within 30degrees of the equator would help. The third picture has a plant in front of me that is very tropical looking. It and another one had menthol smell that you don't run into in the smoke around these parts.

But to answer your question, they still had clear trichomes the most part. They were harvested over about a 4 week window. The weather dictated when I would harvest one. If A spot of mold showed on a plant it was harvested. We had a particularly rainy nasty fall and they took a lickin'. Did end up with decent smoke although it certainly could have been better. Supplemental lighting and covering them with a clear plastic roof would have been the ultimate. But I see potential for this plant to be a better yielder in warmer climates. It wasn't only the rain but cold weather that gets these late finishers in my area. One thing is its mildew and rot resistance. It is top notch for resistance. I did make seeds, but it was done indoors and with feminized seeds of an early finishing fruity phenotype. If I looked hard enough there maybe a few in some pounds of this outdoor. It would have been pollenated by another thai influenced strain that was around at the time. Any way let me thank you for letting me share these pics and flowers.

in the middle i think its actually gotten shorter rather than taller ,

the main arm was too heavy and leaned over toward the edge of the cage ,
needs some viagra this stuff ... lol

Mallard-
That is A very impressive sativa you have there. 100% by the looks of it mallard. Just an amazing plant. Love the creeper growth habits. Havent seen anything quite like that. You have some impressive genetics there. Envious of the fact you have the conditions to grow some serious sativas. Tried to grow something pure like you have there indoors, put as much light intensity as I could to them and still didn't turn out quite right. your inn a sweet spot man. Nice work.

Baked Beans-
Yours looks scrumptious. Deffinately headstash quality stuff.

Asked cause i knowed this are not strains suitable for our areas
of living,

was tryed Zamaldelica at 45.5 North and they was so far away
from total ripenning,in November when temp minuses start they
dont have chance any more..

agree that some heated greenhouse will help but still quality
will be "compromised" as they cant grow properly in our intensity
of sun.

Its like Ducksfoot from Donald,on his sun that plant perform
so much of buds and they are very good sized..

but here on 45.5 North i get like 10 times smaller buds, she cant
fill them and they look so pathetic that i avoid to sow them outdoor any more... but i sees true as Donald shows me before
how they perform there.. lot of buds on that plant close
to equator.. and interesting resiny, lot of resin..

thats why am sorry they dont perform best in our week sun,
will love to smoke Ducksfoot growed in optimal conditions.
