PNG Hybird??? What did you cross the PNG with Azure? Looking real nice.

Hi Dave,
I crossed a PNG male with potent fruity smelling bag seed. My buddy had given me a bunch of seeds he saved from his favorite smoke, so I grew them out and dusted the best female.
Here is a pic of the bag seed clone whose mother was dusted with the PNG.

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. I'm getting ready to delve into the world of sativa's again after a few year hiatus. The last sativa I grew was a Sonic Seeds Lemon Pursang. This was when I was first learning to grow and I think I took it too soon because it had me paranoid as hell. So, I'm going to get my feet wet again with Beanhorders Hawaiian Sativa x SSH. After doing some reading, it seems he used a Federation Hawaiian sat in the cross, and I think he selected the ssh male from beans he had. I'm hoping I can find a nice sativa high without the paranoia in the HS x SSH, if this is not a good choice please let me know. I'm also going to be running Moonshine Haze (Amnesia x Nevil's Wreck) from Rare Dankness, which is essentially another SSH cross. I cant wait to get the beans started. Hope everyone has a great day!!

GN Collection - Khmer Gold

That's gorgeous, MadMac! Is this a clone or a seed plant? I'm also curious when you got and germed the seed. I got a pack of the old stock and didn't have much luck getting them to do anything. I got one sprout that came up yellow, sat for a week, and shriveled up. I only tried 10 seeds though. I'm considering getting another pack, as Cambodian varieties have always intrigued me.

Keep it up! can't wait to see the results of the cross!

thx mate :)
well it's from current stock @ real gorilla...
they have the old stock and GN collection.
plant's are around 2 month old...
germination rate was good for this old seeds...
best for landrace is to germinate in soil...
let them soak in water 10 - 12 hours an than direct in soil.
they like it hotter to germinate so go for 28 to 30°C...
7 - 20 day's some are earlier ...

Yo Madmac,

I have the impression you have so many very special strains that if you've started a seedcompany you'd be sold out all the time.

That's pretty much the protocol I followed, though I soaked longer and while ambient temp during the day was often ~30c, it wasn't consistent. Glad to know I'm on the right track. I did scarify a few and hand crack a few others. Perhaps that was a mistake? I'll use the heat mat next time for more consistent soil temps.

Hopefully, i just picked the ten least likely to germinate, and next time I'll have more than I know what to do with.

Thanks!

Circa 75 in North Fla, a 17 yr old, I was lucky enough to cop 3 different ounces through a music producer's connect.

My friends and I were in heaven just starring at it's striking gold Buds stoned out of gourds and trying to pronounce it over and over .. Nice Looking Plants Vermontman....!!

I'm drooling with nostalgia!!

Thank you TR!
I know, I wish we could go back and score some of some beautiful gold spears and many of the other old time greats.

6.5 feet Queen Mother left Bangi Haze right with self-seed Orient Express x ? durban or Purplebud front center. Worried about these finishing here in Mass. Avg first frost 2nd week Oct. Just now showing first signs of flowering. Will need some frost resistance to make it to maturity and finish by end of October

The big surprise of this years outdoor run

Earlier this year my son started a bunch of Grape Ape x Berry White seeds. He asked for a spot to grow them, and I declined. He took them to his cousins.
Later he started a dozen other seeds, that he was calling Shiva. I said "Oh great, another heavy Indica with mixed reviews. But this time I set him up with his own garden.( I get half).

So Im looking at these plants grow, and scratching my head. It sure didn't look like a Indica to me. I called him last night, and he said he got them as bag seed from a guy that said they were very special seeds. The name of them was a female name, that my son cant remember. He will be contacting the guy who gave them to him, for more information. Ill tell you all later.

Yep these plants were the surprise of the garden this year. There are 5 females and 2 males. I have already collected the pollen

My Old Mexican #1 line has some occasional individuals that have serrations like that, but not as pronounced and the leaves are wider. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a trait that is buried in the primordial sativa gene pool that came out of south/southeast Asia, through Africa and into the New World.
