Rubbed the stem a few day ago and it smelled like the mother(orange/fruity) with the haze incense notes.
The plant is also "bleeding" when topped, like the mom.

Sadly mum and dad are gone. My fault, 2 weeks no water was too much for them.

I hope it's a she.

Another epic thread. :) I thought i had already jumped in, but apparently i was too distracted by the sativa/hybrid pictures. :D

Here is a Tom Hill Haze F2 at day 53 of 11/13 with hortilux SHPS in organic no-till soil with organic locally sourced inputs. She is gone now, but i'm going to be starting some THH F1's as well as Panama Red and Punto Rojo crosses.

thanks for all the superb contributions. The hightype presented as the classic sativa hightype is what got me into growing and it is delightful to see so many amazing plants and such a wide spread of genetics.

Are those Single stem plants or have you bunched all the branches together into what makes it appear to be a single stem?

Not quite what was advertised by breeder at 59 days? Here at 70 days.
But it does have a green apple smell.

from what seedbank tropical?

that's a beautiful plant but it doesn't even look done at 70 days.. I wonder when they start counting when flowering start.. light switch or first pistil?

Hey buddy that is correct.
Not sure but these were on 12/12 8 weeks and for last 2 weeks 11.5 and light was down tight!
Though the buds are beginning to stiffen up with density inside, they look like they would flower forever. LOL
I also had one Herm.

Great pics as usual buddy! Looking forward to hear your smoke reports as always! ;)

Bushman's Ciskei is not really from TSC, they simply received some seeds and started selling them after reproducing those, but they were originally from the extinct Swiss seedbank Herbaria Seeds. Gone but not forgotten.

Vibes.

What a great thread... I'm all about sativa smoke, but must admit I have not grown much of my own... closest I got was a few reeferman strains some time back, which did take 14+ weeks.

I have a question to the guys who have experienced their fair share of sativa strains...

I am looking for a smoke which is highly creative and psychedelic that doesn't leave the mind foggy, and has no ceiling...

Maybe something with thai in it, an african strain, and perhaps a columbian or mexican? What would you say the differences between these are?

Thank you Mustafunk, always appreciate your show of knowledge. Curious have you ever tried Ciskei?

Not in pure form man but I've had some friends that seem to enjoy them... I've read lots of mixed reviews but it seems there are some interesting wild phenos to discover. Fast sativas (or NLDs) are certainly interesting plants for the everyday grower and breeder as well. :)

The sativa is this and indica is that stereotypes are not necessarily true. What most people are referring to are hybrids that took certain aspects from indica's and Sativa's that are just perhaps not the qualities that interest you. For example ogkush is a hybrid that took the clean twisted head of sativa and the overbearing punch to the body from indica into an uberpotent sledgehammer effect. Many pure indica's I have tried have been very clear headed and creative. That foggy stupidity quality often accosiated with indica sometimes comes from the sativa side in hybrids that become stereotyped as indica. I think it best to focus on qualities of the high you are after and realize what everyone is actually talking about are hybrids over 90% of the time.

absolutely, it seems as soon as something is a little upbeat people will call it a sativa, even though it grows like a pure indica. I may be a bit of a purist but a sativa to me should have little to no body effect to it..
