It's harvest time for the Pan-o-Haze.
Under CMH she matured faster than under MH, HPS or/and led. (86 days vs 91-98 days) And switching CMH bulbs from 3000k to 4200k the last week seems to have boosted the maturing process even more, so much that I think I have missed the optimum harvest window.
(Additional info to the grow: 6.5l pot, same nutrient regime as the indicas)

Maybe the Pan-o-Haze is Ace's Panama Haze?
I grew the purple feminized version last season when we had a great autumn, and it's an impressive plant, with strong pleasant high that has no ceiling (no kidding!) of a completely mind-bending effect that in some aspects is indica (deeply dreamy, relaxed, pleasant body) and in other - extreme sativa (very mental, has a sparkling sense of clarity and ease, even when you are completely engulfed, not tiring even after solid abuse). Both extremes of the cannabis effect experienced simultaneously, not something in the middle. I really dig this complexity.
It's perhaps the most pleasant weed I've grown and smoked, with tingling warm feeling all over the body that is not heavy, just relaxed and pleasant. It's more pleasant than the best indicas I've smoked and while Ace's Panama has quite pleasant phenos, the Panama Haze hybrid puts this to another level. Perma-grin guarantied for everyone when in company.
It's not a pure Haze in effect, but a great Colombian Haze hybrid it is. And I would say, it is what Panama should have been, as this has the feeling of a true sativa (in all 3 plants I've tried - mine and of 2 friends), as dense of an effect it is. I find it best during the evening and weekend as I prefer the energy and focus of african/thai strains for a productive day.
Smell of buds is flowery and fresh in a slightly sharp grassy way (very similar to a close relative of this hybrid - a Purple Haze / Thai plant I've tried a few years ago). Smoke is very smooth, spicy and incensey (woody resins, something reminding of but not true church frankincense). The strong long-staying sweet creamy choco woody aftertaste is all Haze.
Needs at least 2 months of curing, the effect is heavy (but already mind-bending) right after the drying.
The most impressing sativa I've tried from the Ace catalog, together with a few Zamaldelica phenos.

My Pan-o-Haze is Ace's Panama X Seedsman's Original Haze. I'm not good at describing tastes or highs but will try. It's my daytime weed since 2016. The high is not racy at all like the Panama mother is. Also not cerebral. It's clear and clean. 100% mental, very energizing, but with a relaxing, happy and warm feeling that floats though the body, similar to what you have described, that I found in almost every Seedsman Original Haze I had. Very relaxing for the mind and the body at the same time. Does never make sleepy but does not inhibit sleeping. Works well for my joint pain and in low doses Im able to function and do everything I need during day. This really changed my life and is no joke. But it's also good for my girlfriends anxiety. Seedsman's OH was the best she had ever found to treat her anxiety and this Pan-o-Haze works even better because it's stronger, she need to smoke less and it's ready 4 weeks sooner. On the other side in high doses the high can be very strong, way stronger than the OH's I had. I really have to take care not to smoke to much, as it can get very trippy, which is not easy because it tastes way too good. But it maintains that feeling of warmth in the body and also the connection between body and mind , similar to what you can experience with mushrooms while keeping the mind clear (only if you do not panic, like my old hippie friend did last year on a concert after he smoked my pure joint alone)

Smell of dried buds is spicy lemon pine-sol, same for the vapor but vapor has something "greenish" like an air freshener in the taste/smell, also after a 1 year cure, similar to how a forest smells early in the mornings during cold summerdays. But where the magic happens is when it burns. It turns to strong incense in smell and taste. Not "the smell of incense when you enter the room" people describe often on forums, but more like "I must get out of this stinking room, to breath fresh air". Not the kind of weed you smoke on a concert or in a CS when you want to stay alone and no want to speak to people. It's like an old toker magnet. Even people who has quit smoking since ages, do engage conversations with me... while other people (non smokers, policemen etc some younger tokers too) do not even realise that someone is smoking weed. They do smell something, but do not think to weed.
Only negative thing I have to report is that many years ago I quit smoking and this Pan-o-Haze made me start smoking again on an almost daily base. But I do only smoke incensey Hazes, all the rest I do still prefer to vape.

I was loving your story until the tobacco part which truly saddens one.

At least if you want to smoke tobacco you should try growing your own. It's fun and the final cure makes commercial tobacco show its face as just a dirty chemical laced manufactured product that it is. The hardest part is the germination and seedling stage. Getting the seeds is easy. They're the tiniest seeds I've ever worked with and a small piece of cardboard could hold thousands upon thousands of seeds in the corrugated air spaces.

If only cannabis seeds were so small.
