Certainly not a pure tropical sativa. Could be a modern version of real deal colombian or a dutch hybrid crossed to an old school colombian.
Yet the high is very nice, quite clear, energetic and potent but not rushy, leaves you a bit tired after a couple of hours.
If i remember well JGL found that gal among 50 plants.

Puna 3 females from 5 seeds . 2 seem to lean towards the Indy side with 1 being on the Sat side

Rethorical or real question? Anyway, I don't know about that. I'm not affiliated with USC in any ways. All i can say is JGL is a man of his word IMHO. I don't see him selling something as what it's not, but if he did why would he shows the strain publicly as he have done with this wos CG?...And the Colombian 72 looks nothing like this wos CG...

JGL has a good reputation, so no doubt about that.What i read, is that JGL is no longer involved with USC and even stopped smoking, but don't know if he passed some seeds or a cutting from this Colombian Gold to others.
Colombian Gold '72 is the classic Colombian from Vibes Collective.
JGL used to test and grow lots of different landraces, he's no longer around but not forgotten as he used to be one of the best indoor NLD growers I've ever seen. He tested both the Colombian Santa Marta from BSC and it seems some others too, but what he released at USC was definitely the old and long flowering '72 CG. No doubt about it.
Huesos still grows the Santa Marta Colombian on the other hand. Vibes Collective is alive and well and the legacy continues.

He is currently crossing a special Nevilles Haze to a Lemon Oax. Im going to grab some of those and cross those to my OGMango Haze.
Oh..... Mango Haze from Shanti is very good too! Nevil told me to grab some years ago, which I did. Real strong and a real Mango flavor. Very strong! I love that stuff
