Retail?

E

Eureka Springs Organics

Now I have to think about the almost 100 shops I have been in in the past couple of months. Don't hold your breath, unless you just took a bong hit. :)

Frosted leaf (4 locations)
The Giving Tree (38th st)

There are others, but I have to get my brain working first. :)

Stocked as hell. A ton of jars, and all were full. They had some nice stuff that I didn't see everywhere else. The owner is a very cool guy. Seems to be a great spot. They are worried about not having enough for rec.

That is a good problem to have. :)

The Denver Post website (Dec 24th) has a list of the retail weed establishments that were sent out 136 STATE licences yesterday. The shops still must meet the county/municipal requirements where ever they are before they can open. www.DenverPost.com/news/ci_24784227/ and that is a damn slow web site. In other news Denver CITY council voted to decriminilize possession of less than 1 oz. of weed by those under 21 years of age.

Who is updating this list? I know of multiple stores that are not on that list that should be.

i think that DeviatedNorm on Reddit made the map.... could be wrong, he talks about editing it...
I cannot express how helpful the r/COents subreddit has been to me and others:

http://www.reddit.com/r/COents/

about the OFFICIAL state liscenes showing up in the mail this week, it's a christmas miracle! LOL.
i bet there are some stoaked dispensary owners to have their recreational license before the first of the year.

I was just in a spot yesterday that got their license. They still have two of five inspections left, and they are hoping to have them done by the first. It seems that the inspections could very well hold up some people from serving the public on the first.

Just because they have a license does not mean they are going to be open for business on the first.

Moral of the story, this is going to be a giant cluster fuck. :)

actually the Yellow Canary dip in Nederland, CO won the 1st state retail cannabis sales license, and Nederland has banned retail sales, talk about shitty.
Yellow Canary says they still are opening for retail sales.

who cares though their herb is nasty, out of state commercial as most others.

grow your own, don't participate in buying
you get photographed, and id'd
is it really worth buying poisoned herb?

I've tasted thousand of nugs up here in Nederland from growers since 2002 in our private shop, it was good till 2009, and now the herb people try to sell us, 70% of it burns the lips and throat, tickles the nose, makes the eyes itch, all signs of poison.

I heard the White Horse Inn already got shut down.
Apparently he was trying to open as a coffee house and give a gram away with the purchase of some latte or something. tried to open early and got shut down the first day.

I went down to the Pink House Mile Hi dispensary friday and they said they couldn't open for retail until February because as part of the regulatory stuff there is a neighborhood meeting to determine if they are good neighbors just as if they were going to open a liquor store. I am still looking around for a retail store that opens on the 1st so I can get a receipt dated Jan 1 because that is historic.

question: if one were to come into colorado from out of state and were only allowed to purchase 1/4oz, how will they know how much the tourist purchases in a day? what if one were to hit up 4 stores and purchase 1/4 oz per store? this could be the answer to why there will be shortages….

:yeahthats  :yeahthats

conceptually.... the computer tracking system would be able to alert stores of customers AND patients who have already purchased their daily "allotment"
BUT
that ain't happening....
i think this is a loophole purposefully left open, like the jaws of a bear trap... let the dispensaries and customers/patients think all is well with selling WAY OVER the limit... then SNAP, the trap slaps shut on those trying to sidestep regulations.

no worries barnyard...
I'd like to reitterate tho... that list on scribd is just who got their liscense that doesn't mean that those places will be open on the first of january... shops gotta go thru inspections to be legit to go rec... many places wont have inspections and everythign they need done by jan 1st... but everyone on that list should be open by like.... march or so is my guess. many places i asked said no jan1st yes by mid feb.
