sneakinman13-Thanks man. These were vegged for 5 months, In hydro you can really rock em out on the height, but they have grown slow for me both runs in da dirt. Not hard to tie em over as long as you start it when you put em in the first transplant pot. The main stem gets thick so they have to be started early. Didn't have a problem holding these down with the twist ties as long as you take your time training them where you want them.

norcalikush-Yeah, I'm the man, lol. Beastly bushes is what I was after. Thanks!

doobieduck-Glad you like em. Many ways to do I guess. Just had access to a bunch of the 8 inch twist ties. Also had some coated wire but these were easy o use. Can see where something heavier would be needed for outdoors tho due to wind and other factors. As long as we achieve the desired effects it's all good, hehehe.
I put that pic in because I have mentioned the "grid" system and never really had shown it. This way people can get a vauge idea of what I've got going on.
Thanks for checking em out.

E-Dub-Yup, they're Sog'ed. Glad you like em. Never had a PM problem. Humidities are always below 45% in the room.

New pics from today, 6-9-08. The girls have been flushed for the past 9 days with plain water and mayple syrup used 1 teaspoon/gallon at ph 6.3 to 6.4. Plain water till the end from here on out.
Used the maple syrup during my last flush on a grow of Sharon Widow and the difference in the end product in smell, taste, and burn is amazing.

FiveLeggedGoat-Thanks man. Heavy duty indeed. Love the stuff.

BiG H3rB Tr3E-Thanks for the kind words and for checking out the thread.
Now to your questions.

1-Not the SR71. This is the original Purple Kush. Was sourced from a grower here who started the mom from seeds back in the mid 90's. Still trying to dial her in correctly. Fed them some hydroplex at too strong of a rate and burned some of the leaves, but the buds are fine. More of a hydro guy and the soil thing(in bloom) is giving me fits, but I'm getting there, hehe.

2-Veg time was 5 months. Began tying them over the same day they went into the 1st transplant pots. Plant them in at a slight angle and tie them down from then on out.

damakkus-Thanks for the kind words man. Most appreciated.

norcalikush-They are in 7 gallon pots. Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil is being used. Yup, 5 month veg time. No idea on yield yet. they won't be chopped until this coming Monday. By looking at them over the past several days, I think I'm gonna have a decent yield tho, better than I originally thought.

teddybud-Thanks for looking in on the thread.

Here's a pic of the tie down grid I use for training. It's bamboo stakes zip tied to each other. I can add more stakes as I need to depending on stretch during the first couple of weeks into bloom.

Resin, I love those bushes! I'm sure you took cuts during that long veg. Are you gonna run these again? If so what will you do differently? If I would have caught this earlier I would have requested a root picture after harvest. I want to run Bubba sooo bad.
