He looks goofy as hell but he earned his money today.

The Bears were lucky but luck plays a part in every game, and you have to be good to be lucky.
I wasnt overly impressed with Cutler's performance but at least he managed to avoid melting down during another primetime game. The TO's called back by penalties helped too. If he's going to lead us to the promised land he's got to play better than that. He will, hopefully.

Is this the man who's going to lead the Bears to the Superbowl? Maybe, maybe not.
At 3-0, the Bears have an inside track to the playoffs, but I could see Cutler melting down in a playoff game. If he keeps it together and gets hot down the stretch, and the defense stays healthy, then I could see them making a run in January. But that's a lot of if's, and the season is still young, so...

Big D, I remember that picture. That is a good picture.

Week 4 and we have our first bye week. Interesting matchups this week: Ravens at Steelers (should be a defensive battle), Redskins at Eagles (the Vick redemption tour continues), Niners at Falcons (Singletary is on the hot seat) and of course Bears at Giants on Sunday night (does Cutler almost throw 3 picks again in primetime, or does he get lucky and have two called back because of penalties?).

Michael Turner the Burner? He was fantasy gold in, I believe, 2008, when he left in free agency to become the starter for the Falcons. San Diego just seems to be able to churn out RB's...

A fall back to reality. The fears I had about the offensive line became reality, as the Bears gave up a franchise record 10 sacks. Cutler was sacked 9 times in the first half alone and was diagnosed with a concussion at halftime. Some of those sacks were on him, for not getting rid of the ball quickly. Most of them were on the line, for at times refusing to block anyone. I never get how a blocker could let a rusher run right past him because he assumes the blocker next to him will pick the rusher up. End result, no one blocks the rusher and he gets a clean shot at the QB. Bizarro.

I cannot believe my raiders are @ 500 and have won 4 games.. I think if the cable guy dont replace campbell today we can get another win he has the mojo going. I hope he dont bring in gradjkowski in till campbell starts to mess up.. Please please football gods dont allow it.. The Raiders are back. Maybe not all the way, yet, but certainly they seem very competitive this year. A franchise record 59 pts against the Broncs, and a gutty win against the Chiefs. McFadden looks like he belongs with AP and CJ in discussions on who's the best back in the league.
Is it too early for them to talk about playoffs? Theyre still half a game behind the Chiefs, but plenty of games left to catch up...

Yea baBa the schedule gets TOUGH now pitt, miami, all 3 division games again so we will see what we are really made of now and if we are becoming a good competitive team now.. Lots of things goin on that were not expected in the NFL vikings and dallas are pathetic who were expected to do well. Lets see how moss does in tenn. Noone is afraid of the colts anymore.. Browns are multiple personality disordered.. And i totally agree about Mcfadden when he is healthy he is a beast.. The way this year is going who knows a 500 team may make wildcard. Im defintiely more optimistic than i was when season started.. peace n pufs..
