ugh..what about in CO? like, can a group of people get together and open up a 'coffeeshop', speakeasy, or whatever? like, can you open it under the guise of saying "we serve breakfast here, orange juice and a bed to sleep on." Like a weed bed n breakfast..now thats a good idea, I know it's been discussed before, but it would be so awesome in either state.

What will be wild is if the Indio Casinos have a Marijuana Smoking Area woo hoo.

I am sitting at my store looking out the big windows into the city. All the lights, so pretty and all the shoppers rushing. I am not usually a big fan of this time of year as it is time that I reflect some great loss. This year is a bit different, if nothing more than a pretty big distraction. Last year I toured the California harvest for a couple of months, and extended it to the American Southwest. That was a great fun time. I had a girl friend that got caught with an ounce of cocaine and ended up spending a huge chunk to keep her out of prison. Turned out to be a waste because as soon as we were back around family she got another ounce or so. I had it at that point. Going solo this Christmas and it is like jonesing for drugs. It is the time that a lot of people spend time with family and loved ones.

Press On I always say.

AND....you can't even grow your own! That is some mafia shit. It's all good as long as we are the only ones who deliver this profit generating service.....HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I have a yard, water, and seed. The sun is free, but I must pay to grow a plant.....WHAT?

Gardening is a natural progression for most of those that enjoy cannabis, AND the most logical. Why pay for what I can produce and share.....abundance is the natural evolution of this process.

GROW. SHARE. ENJOY.

We will make you into a Republican, yet!

Fact of the matter is that these two states have a hell of legal battle on the horizon, and I just pray that they have teams up to the challenge. The other 48 states are counting on it.

The motto for this whole situation should be the same one adopted by any random bitch in heat: "DON'T STOP! DON'T STOP!"

NOW~WHERE~TALKing

ya. call it 420 tours of Seattle. Just spend a day getting high chilling on top of a bus enjoying sites and sounds of the city.

I had a similar experience when I went to Germany from Amsterdam back in '03, I went to stay with some friends that lived in this tiny town in northern Germany called Geilenkirchen. They took us down to Aachen, Germany and we hopped on this huge tour boat that had a wedding party going on, and this nice German family let us crash their wedding party and we all just floated down the river getting high and drunk, and saw like 40 amazing hill top castles. They were "robber-baron" castles; extortion stops built princes and two-bit rulers, back when Germany was divided in to 350 independent mini states. We got off the boat at St. Goar and I got to go wonder around this castle town high as a kite lost in my imagination. It was like living out a fantasy for me. Taking a step back in time.

Being without a loved one is not fun this time of year but if you live long enough you learn, unfortunately, there are worse things. Hang in there.

^after a while you learn to embrace the quiet. being able to observe it from afar like a monet and not deal with all the holiday drama is quite nice. even though it is bitter sweet.

I almost pissed myself walking outside the Needle top without being high.

I'd need a catheter to go along with a bong.

Things are starting to look better and better everyday. Looks like the revolution is now. The other states are going to see the monopoly(s) that Washington and Colorado have and want to get on board. The day has come.

President Barack Obama said prosecuting pot users in states that have legalized the drug won't be a top priority for his administration.

"We've got bigger fish to fry," Obama told ABC News' Barbara Walters. "It would not make sense for us to see a top priority as going after recreational users in states that have determined that it's legal."

Last month, voters in Colorado and Washington legalized recreational pot use for adults, though marijuana remains illegal under federal law.

The Obama administration suggested last week that it was considering plans to undermine the voter initiatives. In his interview with Walters, Obama did not say whether his administration would go after producers and suppliers of marijuana in those states. The administration has cracked down extensively on the medical marijuana industry in California, despite its legality under state law there.

A slim majority of Americans want the Department of Justice to leave pot smokers alone in the states where the drug has been legalized, according to a HuffPost/YouGov poll.

Obama himself smoked pot as a youngster in Hawaii, where he and his high school pals called themselves the Choom Gang.

"There are a bunch of things I did that I regret when I was a kid," he told Walters. "My attitude is, substance abuse generally is not good for our kids, not good for our society."

This is positive, I hadn't heard that Obama said this. Will have to wait and see, though, because the proof will be in the Justice Department's pudding. Will see if the Justice Dept walks Obama's talk.
