Trainspotting is a great movie, about some junkies.

Hero might be my favorite martial arts movie ever.

If you're into TV shows, East Bound and Down is a short series that will you leave piss-pantsed with laughter.

Hot Rod - I honestly thought this movie was gonna blow, it was marketed very poorly. I gave it a shot on a whim probably a year after it was released, and have watched it over a dozen times easily. Very, very funny.

Pineapple Express - Obvious, but its probably the only comedy Ive watched more times than Hot Rod.

Inception has to be out there on the web somewhere, it was pretty good, kind of Matrix like in a sense that Id like to watch it again to see if I can better wrap my head around the story.

Brooklyns Finest was also damn good. Gotta recommend that.

one of the best fighting movies i have ever seen:

the main character is this girl who they made the movie for, and shes a real muay thai fighter, she dont fuck around. they also dont use strings and other fake shit, so they get hurt a lot.
in the end they fight on the side of a building with dudes falling off for real without safety harnesses.
