You should check out: The Seventh Seal.

Swedish movie about a man that challenges Death to a chess match.

it starts out a bit weak, but it gets really interesting with the whole metaphoric nature of the movie.

"Saint Misbehavin'" is about one extraordinary beat/hippie generation man, Hugh Romney aka Wavy Gravy. I found this film very moving and inspirational. Well worth watching, imo.
