I'm not concerned with my growing skills I'm concerned with gavita selling people these expensive lights and they don't have a power cord so you can use the thing and the fact i cant get any answers from them at all pretty much give me the run around so yea that's not A+++ or whatever you give them cuz r now there getting a F-------- from me

So there is a technical problem.. go google on internet and try to
found bad reviews on Gavita, its not much...

you still didnt start a lamp cause you dont have cord while you
opening threads how Gavita sucks.. how you can judge it if
you didnt try grow under this light???

where did you buy light, directly from Gavita or some hydro shop???

If that 1000w is yielding 3 lbs, then the 270w actual wattage LED is congruently yielding 1.28lbs total, which is normal IMO.

Checking your numbers and... they're not right.
1.28lbs is 580g and there's very little chance anyone will be able to get that with 270W of leds, almost impossible except with a killer strain in dwc+co2. So it's not "normal" to get these weights, we're talking over 2g/W.
A regular led grower can normally expect 1-1.5 g/W, using top tech leds, experienced pros with great setups can go up to 2g/W, maybe a bit over this but I still have to see that happen.

Cheers

I actually agree with OP in being dissatisfied, but for a very specific reason. They told him they would do him a favour, which is kind and he should be gracious. When he then expects that favour to move ahead, but it's in the wind for over a month, that's them wasting his time. If they couldn't do it, they shouldn't have said so, that's a commitment they made to him. Is it a nice gesture? Sure. If it's possible and not just smoke blowing.

If I need so many materials for a job, and the supplier messes about for a month with a free quote, and I get down to the wire without any contact on the matter, that's a dick move. That's bad business. That's my time and money wasted going back to a problem I thought I had the solution to directly at hand. Lots of small businesses tell the customer "yes" to get them in the bag and then struggle to deliver because it's over their head in one way or another.

The math is correct. There is room for interpretation in the conclusion, but my stated opinion underlines my personal concerns and thoughts.

Again I'm sure the tech on this light is great but fact is they don't have a power cord for it and there trying to blame the distributor when in reality it's there fault and they can't give a time frame when these cords will be made! Who knows I could be waiting for up to 6 months it's just ridiculous. I bought it at a hydro store and there trying to help me as much as they can this is all on gavita it's funny that they are actually trying to throw the blame on the distributor so professional

Dude, honestly I agree with your dissatisfaction, but here's some tough love. STFU and buy a cord. Lots of things don't come with power cords because most people have two spares or, as with lights, desire a specific length. They cost like eight dollars at Radio Shack. Get over it and you'll be able to look at the situation more constructively.

Ok I'm gonna say again idk if your retarded or not clearly reading my post this is not a regular power cord you can't buy this at radio shack for 8$ gavita only manufactures this cord and there the ones who don't have them and won't give me answer on when they will gave them and they are blaming the distributor when actually they have zero for this and as of now no one in the world has 120 Or 240 v cords like I heard people talk about idiots on this forum and now I just experienced it first hand

Maybe you are idiot alone if you cant accept explanation from Gavita...

you didnt buy light directly from Gavita but you blame them for missing cord..

its pretty idiotic to do so..

There not giving me explanation there not giving me anything but blaming distributor when not there fault. Bottom line they don't have no cords but are selling expensive lights to anyone am d they care less as long as they get there money, 2 idiots so far

I have every right to be pissed at gavita if you can't see that, your mother dropped you on your head when you were lil or your working for gavita and trying to push there products

Yep..Gavita was right.. you are simply idiot of a person..

am dont work for them but will use their lights and will expose your BS as
false claim..

You didnt buy Gavita LED light from Gavita personaly but you claim they suck..
you dont contact your seller who needed to give you cord to bother them
on issue.. its mighty idiotic level to not understand where you go wrong..

Adio troglodite... ;D

I know this light will be tits but untill gavita manufactures more 120/240v cords I have to wait and this 1400$ light will just sit and collect dust

Again yes it seems so straight forward and easy but this is not the case. Yes Hawthorne will take your payment and they will send you a cord when gavita makes them but when is that going to happen, no one knows not Hawthorne or gavita and that is my issue and it is clearly just.

So I'm actually looking out and hopefully warn people that if you do purchase this light you WILL NOT be able to turn it on. It is always hilarious that couple of you don't comprehend the point I'm trying to make and calling me a idiot and telling me to stfu all I want is for this light to shine down on my babies, anyone can use Google but are you calling and emailing the distributors and gavita, NO your not but I AM.

My mistake, I thought I was dealing with someone trying to make it work instead of making excuses.

https://heavygardens.com/gavita-e-series-240v-iec-power-cord-w-ferrite-16-ft-25-cs.html

https://healthyhydro.com/product/gavita-e-series-240v-iec-power-cord-with-ferrite/

https://agron.io/products/gavita-e-series-240v-iec-power-cord-with-ferrite

Those are all for the 270, I can find more for any of their others.

Every day can't be perfect, get a cord and plug in your otherwise completely awesome light.

Ok so 14 distributors were checked and zero luck only 277 volt and I'm not running that high voltage I need 120/240v so 0-14 right now, problem continues...
