If this was ur first time going to the cup and ur rolling solo ...what would u do?....I have friends who share the same lifestyle but they never get out ...besides the regular trips to cali ...my gfs aren't really in weed like that ... its only 4 days but idk if I wanna be alone..I'm no trick but I'm thinking about his taking a nice girl and enjoying myself for the week ..what do u guys think?

Bro I know how you feel, first year I went over only knowing I was gonna meet Dr Pressure, ended up chilling with all kindsa peoples, last year like wise, didn't even travel with someone just hooked up with heads once I got over there. We all smoke, we all love growing so come have a smoke and a chat bro. Good times to be had an plenty of good smoke. Sounds like this year is goona be a busy one too so make sure you don't miss out.

As soon as the venue decision is solidified for the awards ceremony evening (4/20/2011), and a few other bits and pieces still being worked on, I'll get an official thread up. Announcement of the awards venue location and daily schedule of events will be available on April 15th for pick up at Mila's for those attending. Judge and guest passes will be available to purchase via www.seedbay.com (or perhaps www.seedboutique.com) very soon. The ability to purchase from Seed Boutique via credit card makes things perhaps a bit easier for many...but no worries, I'll let you all know when they are ready for purchase.

Let keep it chilled, the year we has a cover band was horrible and noisy and made everyone seek refuge in a nice quiet coffee shop as soon as the awards were dished out.....we wanna be able to sit and talk and enjoy each others company and conversation.

seriously that was the least appropriate band for stoners I've ever heard...I couldnt stay at the venue for more than 5 minutes before leaving...LOL

Taste in music genres varies far and wide...even among those who are tokers...so...my thought is to not have a 'live' band at all....finding one that suits everyone is difficult. What's the saying...you can't please everyone.

My thoughts for music this year is a more subtle background ambiance setting....those who want to go to a club for live sounds (of varying genres) can do so on their own and by their own choice....those who want to hang out after the awards will be able to sit and relax, visit, and actually have a conversation without shouting over some roaring sounds.

This of course, is my impression....and seems to mirror those who have recently posted.

I look forward to having some not so busy days and really taking in the culture. If the boat is a rockin, don't come a knocking!
