That's exactly what perpetuates racial stereotypes, friends and family and business associates all sharing their racism with each other and teaching their children to be racist too.

That is where attention needs to be focused, esp. on family and religions brainwashing their kids and passing on their bigotry and hatreds.

This is what divides society. And it's not just on lines of race. It's also now about "class" as our society separates the haves and have nots, just as clearly as the SS decided who would live or die on the train platforms during WWII.

And I only bring up the nasty Nazis because that is the final solution that comes about when racism is not nipped in the bud.

not when it is a race making fun of itself, that is the nature of caricature.

NOT when it is a race that has no intimate relationship upon which to joke about another.

IMHO If one is enlightened they look to raise the bar, regardless of the circumstance, in regards to all things humanitarian.

Racism like sexual bias is very difficult to come to terms with and most people can't, not completely.

It does highlight a general vibe at IC that I think is simply counterproductive, no blame to anyone in particular but imho I see it as a consequence of being introverted due to the pressures of prohibition.

That vibe is people are willing to become polarized based on things that have no real bearing on the plant or how it should effect our lives in a positive manner, but on the meat and potatoes, the transformation that comes from embracing the plant itself.

Well that is being limited to people who have self limiting perspective because of the limits of their human interactions, within themselves and with others.

Most white people don't care to empathize with minority prejudice. In fact my father was severely racist, and it left a taint on me, and to this day seeing someone starkly different can get evoke a pensive vibe within myself.

As someone who prides himself in being in mutual possession of the ten realms within myself I have come to know this is not a rational, beneficial or rational fear.

Please do not think that I haven't been deeply exposed and close to people far different than me and that I make these assumptions based on what I would like from the world.

IMHE People are like pitbulls, show them love you get it back, show them hate it is there waiting for you.

My suggestion to everyone who has the pleasure and privilege of having this plant in your life, don't dismiss the efficiency of that method of living until you have tried it.

Compassion goes a long way to healing wounds that should never have been made in the first place and preventing them in the future.

Do I put ownership of the logo on IC? NO

Do I think as a international web site there should be racial senstivity? yeah

so if one of there characters is white had a pair of short work shorts a blue singlet and thongs as foot wear or flip fops if thats what you call them.... would this be racist towards australians?

then the exact same question but the character is black with the same outfit... would this be racist towards australians?

Being the dirty old man I am, wanna hot sexy babe caricature for a banner!

This issue had to be one of the funniest Lampoons ever published. It made fun of every single race on the planet. And, everyone laughed.

What happened to the days when we all knew who, what and where we are and it was OK. I am Italian with Jewish friends. I grew up in the ghetto with all blacks. I lived in Italy when I was 10.

And, in all that time, living with all those different people from all those different races and all those different parts of the world, believing in all those different religions and eating all those different foods, I found one very important thing about human beings. There are really only 2 kinds. Good..... and evil. That's it. The rest is just on the outside where it doesn't matter.

Still, it looks like I'm the only one who has learned that. So many others still look at the outside to see what kind of person you are.

Guess we'll never see another magazine cover like this, just as we'll never see another movie like Blazing Saddles.

Ok, what about the muslim woman in hijab for RQS seeds.

Let's see now... I think only a marijuana leaf should be allowed as a logo for every cannabiz. And it has to be the same generic one for all companies.

You will obey the dictates of the Politically Correct or else!

Oh, and those same PC people say it's wrong to smoke and grow marijuana. (this is finally changing)

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for professionalism in business. Yet you don't see much of that in the cannabis world, but things are slowly starting to change as the biz rises up from the underworld.

That was exactly the problem the wanna be rasta I mentioned before had. He lacked any professionalism. So I take the rasta logo as being ironic, not racist. As it typifies the hypocrisy of the wanna be rastas who enter the cannabiz by exploiting Rastafarianism.

Those are the people who need to be enlightened.
