Questions for Sam the Skunkman on Hindu Kush Indicas

My attempts at growing were mediocre until I scored beans from SSSC and The Seed Bank. They were advertised in Sinsemilla Tips mag and I threw some cash in an envelope, mailed it to Holland and crossed my fingers.
Mr. M. Frank, if it's so probably then do you have to share of some visual information about what those Khyberi, Kandahari and truest NL#5 ancestor plants looked alike? I do remember pictures within Nevil's seedbank old catalogs and would want to see photos from one's vintage archives if it is possible. Let me know more please. Thank you in advance.

And question to Mr.______, tell me please are there good quality pictures of your famous parent (ancestors) plants of Sacred Seeds golden era in new book Cannabis: Evolution and Ethnobotany by Robert C. Clarke and Mark D. Merlin? Thank you in advance too.

All I have is distant memories of those plants from SSSC seeds I grew in the 80's

Mel, in the year of 2000 I read your book, my first foreign book about cannabis, revised color edition of "Deluxe MJ Grower's Guide" (1997) by Red Eye Press. There are almost none of pictures of landrace or true strains we try to discuss here about. May you look into your treasures photoarchive for some good photos please? Or ask Mr. _______ about them. Share some of them here :)

Few pics from Mel's old book. Mel and Sam, could you provide interested readers of more such the pictures about Sacred Seeds era plants?

Left: Thai plants grew 14 feet under these San Francisco skylights.
Right: Pruning and tying down branches kept this little Afghani out-of-sight in this Berkley bay window.

My thoughts exactly, the exact origins are of minor importance, it's the beauty, yield and taste I love, I used to love squidgy black hash and to have a plant that tastes like it is a very good thing, for that plant to also be purple and have a monster yield, that's fantastic to me.

When I get this line stabilised for the purple colouring I'll spread the seeds far and wide!

Are they ready yet, some of the prettist buds I have seen in this strain.

Good luck
Let me know asap
Peace Out

Dude, its a bit lame to use real names bro, edit it.

Sams is here, I have talked to him many times and he often posts.
Don't expect him to scour the internet looking for questions though.
Pm him and be polite, works for me.

Hey a greeting to all.
Popped some seeds of Viking, the only information I know are that it is a old landrace strain of Afghanistan, imported into the Netherlands and cultivated by wernard, during the 1980s. also called 2 x 10... Right? :chin:
I saw some hybrids (KC,HFH,DP ecc..ecc..) but little information on pure strain.
can you help me with some other info?
Greetings. LK

Show here some good pictures of Viking when it is possible.

I hope... I germinated only seven seeds (100%) because of Viking I really few.
I saw some photos of plants that reminded me of Packistany line, not Afghany line.

I know Viking is a parent of the famous cash cropper strain top 44
i thought it is victory clone not viking? or victory cut=viking?

I know this, Viky or Victory it s the cross between an Skunk # 1 with Viking.
Later, Victory mother has been back-crossed with Viking, and is born the strain Top44 [(skunk#1x viking) x viking]

Hi sam ! I wonder if today I find the Skunk # 1 authenticates to the market that you have in your garden which you created ... someone sells or private strain that only you've got ?

There are many copies on the market that you know no longer appreciate the great work done by people like you,

I sometimes think that man apart from creating also destroys ... if a cut SKUNK # 1 is the perfection of many attributes that are bent on crossing and cross and cross ??? Skunk # 1 x pepa , Skunk # 1 x california has plant

I do not understand ... greetings Skunkman !
