Question about commercial grows?

my opinion is that theyre about the $$$ and speed of getting the next crop to market. as a result they do it the fast way and take their 1lb per plant and move on. I dont know if you ever visited OG back before... but there were commercial and non commercial growers on there like this guy who were pulling over 2lbs a plant with less than 1000 watters. its in the nutes and growers skills/methods.

2lbs per plant !!!!! jesus under less than a 1000 watt... what was he doing?

Probably growing caca.Not all people that do this are in it for the money,I can honestly say I'm not,I have more than I'll need.I do it because after working 30 years with humans,I couldnt take it anymore.Now my dog is my only company during the day,I'm in heaven.

I envy you...I hate living in the city...People in the boonies are the coolest kind...Every day I look at my life and just wish I could retire early and just live in the mountains, and fish and dirt bike all day..

LOL. sounding just like me, if this is what life is for me then yeah, im in heaven. I love the line of work especially soil, it just sucks when the only person to help you is your gf w/ sculiosis who shouldnt be doing any labor work.
and cali is great, not many places around like it. and yeah me and my 2 dogs are all i could ask for.....

the problem is the govt is full of idiots, they place all of us into the same category and thats wh we get screwed, i think if a judge or anyone actually too kthe time to realize that dank is a plant that grows then it may help to open uptheir eyes. I also dont understand how they dont understand that prohibition is what started this whole thing in the first place. and yeah it sucks that we have to be scared of watching out for ourselves before we can even thk of helping someone else out, sorry to hear about your pops man.......

Nice garden Fast Pine! lol that pic cracks me up , looks like something I would do (guy w/plants)! I noticed a big diff. when I went from 400w to 1000w. ventilation being the biggest but nutrients took a while to get used to as well. I noticed they could handle a good amount more with a bigger light. But that could have been simply cause I started w/co2 at the same time I went to a bigger setup? As far as soiless/soil and hydro I have done both with good results. Only the hydro always seems to be lacking "something". Potency was great and growth was better but for my personal tastes hydro just dont do it for me. I have sold off all my hydro stuff and am staying with a soil/soiless mix , pro mix and guanos and green sand. I dont think using this mix is considered hydro though as the plants do uptake minerals and nutes from the mix and not all added to water? I will have to read a good deffenition of hydro I guess?
