those things look fun as hell! 90mph? im sure id crash it but its still be fun untill the moment of destruction.

anybody here from WA or is it all oregon dudes?

yeah easy to crash but that little thing is worth $1150 and at that kinda price you learn not to crash it but for the occasional jump you gotta beef it up like I did ,The lower arms are billet 6061 alum stainless rear diff alum front, and almost alum everything else, also titanium turnbuckles and alum rims but its way too fast i can never get full throttle at 60mph when i hit full throttle it spins out, the motor runs 60,000rpm at full throttle pretty quick.

that sounds like a bitchen idea dude, maybe even a indoor harvest fest and an outdoor harvest fest?? meet somewhere in between the two furthest away at a fo sho safe spot only discussed thru PM's, no tag alongs? as far as buddies,GF's,brothers, sisters etc etc... or until an group of growers are established and we know each other we need no drama. grow partners cool?

just ideas yall, i love the idea to share ideas, tips, gens on a more personal level rather than a random meet up with some dude you don't know, ya know?

I'm down with no tagalongs.

The only people I'd ever bring are people who grow their own shit, in their own homes, who do it right. No drama means no trouble. :joint:

I like trading genetics with my friends who grow, they know I don't bullshit them about what it is and I know they don't bullshit me about it either. That's what's up.

Hello fellow pnwesteners....I'm on the north coast and looking at starting a small grow in a clear cut just above where i live. It was probably cut 4-5 yrs ago and they burned the piles last year. So it will most likely sit for a few years now. I've got a few spots scouted that is hidden from the logging road and offers pretty good protection from wind coming off the ocean. Any/all advice is welcome...

Thanks~

iv never grew on the coast i could imagine the moist air could mean mold pretty easy but i have had bud from the coos area and it was pretty dank and tasty

T

TroubleGuy

Yeah, lots of fine outdoor White Widow grown in Coos Bay. I remember when I was a new smoker, there was a fascination among everyone I knew about the pot from Coos Bay. Then I got into good bud and met some growers, then started growing, and that garbage I smoked with them won't touch my pipe ever again.

I don't doubt it. Putting a brushless motor on a feather weight aluminum chassis is bound to produce some crazy results. I wouldn't be the captain of that vessel while stoned. Too risky. :joint:

The hobby is starting to look attractive again... damn it! I will probably build a new 8th scale buggy kit when I get some money. Converted to brushless of course and fat LiPo packs.

I had a schumacher cat 3000 carbon fiber and graphite everything, maybe 50 mph

I also had a yokomo GT-4 with a ported pico engine did 67mph radared

I really want an 1/8 scale when i get out of school and have some extra $

1/8 buggy or truggy

mugen or xray kit

novarossi engine.

Thanks for the offer but I'd much rather wait till I have the money to get top shelf everything. I'd want a kit too. half the fun is building the damn thing.

OK, thanks for the replys, not exactly what I was looking for however. I'm approx 160 north of coo's bay and was hoping that someone out there had experience and advice for outdoor grows a bit farther north...I'll figure it out.

T

TroubleGuy

Wish I could help you jwm, but I don't know what the climate is like and frankly don't have the outdoor growing experience yet. The place to ask might be the Outdoor forum, those guys definitely know their shit.

i totally understand but the nitro is not enough power for me i been thru the superchargers, nos, port and polish etc etc, theres nothing like brushless and a lipo long run times good strong power and dont have the hassle of all that comes with nitro, fuel, glo plugs, glo ignighter pull starts or box starts it all sux, gotta love plug and play with the new speedo tech i dont even have to set it up just plug and play

The plug and play aspect is fun

But i love the smell of the fuel/exhaust, the sound, and tuning.

For me it's almost more fun tinkering than actually racing or bashing.
