thanks :)
she soaked up the heavy rain while I was out of town for 4 days. but yesterday and today it has been very hot and sunny, reaching the high 90's and it's pretty humid. My plant is loving it up! btw, the sourbubble is sitting in a lgiht soil mixture with some bone meal, blood meal, worm castings, and perlite.. similar to BOG's soil mix

A simple and relatively cheap solution to garden slugs is to put a circle of salt approx an inch wide, and 1/4in deep about 4 in from the main stem. You have to re-apply the salt every time it rains (or you water if your not careful) but that will keep all slugs away from your plants.

Although I have never tried it with weed, I have had no problems with my garden plants and the salt build up, but you may want to check with experts on that.

Uh Maleko...thats a sure way to kill off your mj quick IME. I would advise against it.

I use plastic bundt shaped jello molds about 5 inches in diameter, placed directly around the stem and fill it about an inch high with beer. Make sure the pans are into the soil somewhat to keep slugs from bypassing and be sure the pans are atleast 4 inches high, and check water level after raining if possible, and refill if necessary.
This drowns the little bastards like a charm and the plants will benefit from the beer when it spills over into the soil. I use Budweiser cause thats what I usually have on hand

Looking nice sofar.

When she starts to flower I recommend you cut off a few of the larger fan leaves so they dont shade your budsites.

yupp, i think she's doomed :(
its a long story, but somehow a few friends discovered the wherabouts of my SourBubble girl.. they promised not to touch her but i know how word spreads and my plant has probably already been fucked with.

It's fucking shitty and I'm pissed. If I want to expect anything from my SB, I'd have to move her.. AGAIN!! she's really starting to love the environment and she's really looking healthy and bushing out. I'd have to haul a garbage bag full of soil mixed with nutes that she's just starting to root in, and my 2 foot girl, to another spot.... i dont fuckin think so!! :fsu:

So, someone knows where your plants are?

I'd move them If I were you.

Its never too late to take cuttings.
43 degrees? So your planning on rooting them outside?

I'd love to see some updated pics of the plant. I'm very intrigued by SB and all of BOG's strains for that matter. Yes, MOVE the plant!! I find most people aren't knowledgable about growing and will most likely pick your plant to death before she ever finishes. Oh yeah, and they'll smoke wet, unfinished bud and claim it was the worst "homegrown" they ever tasted. :yoinks:

she's getting so big!! SourBubble BX3 is soooo much on the indica side and it shows- the leaf blades are so fucking wide, fan leaves bigger than my hand!! The nuggets are starting to develop, rock hard and close together. She's getting super bushy and green!! :D
.. I saw her yesterday but forgot to take pics and today it is raining, I'll get pics real soon if you guys are showing interest!

She's getting real big and is rooted in her gigantic hole in the ground, its too late to move this giant with the gallons of soil/nutes shes in! Since I have little means of growing indoors and not much knowledge on cloning, I think that choice is out of the question to.. I would be rooting the clones indoors but only to move them outdoors, and its way to late to start that at 43N..
... my guess is that these guys will pick the buds until my SB girl dies, but I think their smart enough to wait until harvest nears.. :dueling:

thanks for the advice though guys!! any feedback is great

Hey Marcellas,
If that is the last SB you've got you have to try cloning her, keep her small if you have to, and be ready early for next year. Ya gotta keep those genes. I'm on my 5th generation Sour bubble clone. No matter what the conditions look like this strain has always come out serious smoke that everyone loves.
The easiest way to clone I've found is Rapid Rooters in a humidity dome and three weeks of patience.
These babies are tough, I've tried to hermie them. Here are some pic's of what I've got going now

The SB's are in front of the tall one's

UPDATE!!

UPDATE!!

I know, I can't lose these genese as they are the last I have from BOG and I know I won't be talking to him soon :(
.. But How do I store I clone so that I could try to use it next year outdoors?? I have the lighting to root a clone, but I lack the supplies for roots and have no means of growing a plant indoors.. So my best bet is to take clones and somehow save them for the next season outside.. But where should I top her and how should I store clones for months??
.. I might be able to try to grow one SourBubble clone under my CFLS in a couple weeks.

Anyways, it looks like rain for the next few days so I won't be seeing her soon. So I have a pic from a few days ago after the streak of nice, sunny days!! That was the lastime I visited her, and hairs are just beginning to form at the top-nodes of my SBbx3 girl.. The tiny nuggets are little stinky sticky rocks!!.. and growing over them are those HUGE wide, healthy green Indica leaves.. The whole plant has bushed out and explodes since the transplant and she looks very happy and healthy!! :woohoo:

Golfball in the bottom of the hole for size-comparison.. The almost branches that were die-ing a month ago have bushed out along with the whole plant. My SourBubble girl has huge dark green indica leaves on top and the whole plant is healthy and green. Just beginning to bud!! :D

.. I pinched half of the newest growth tip (bud?) with my fingers, off of a healthy branch on the bottom of the plant.. I did this while she was indoors and it branched out with multiple shoots. My SBbx3 girl has so much potential, to bad its to late to move her from rippers- I couldn't risk it with all that work!
... Any feedback would be GREAT!!
