you can grow them faster. I find most all western strains grow fairly similar, some are just more finicky than others and have a small window of acceptable environmental conditions , but once you find their proper ratios you can get them to perform fairly well. You dont need co2 or aero or any of that monkey motion, plants kick ass outside in dirt with low co2. Fix whatever other growth limiting factors you got before you start adding goodies to your room. You dont put sweet wheels on a car with flat tires..

I have a clone that I have had for a couple years now. It was given to me by a friend, whom got it from a relative of his that has been growing this exact strain for ten years now. I was told it was an old school blueberry strain, but after growing her and seeing pictures of Urkle, it makes me wonder if she is indeed and Urkle cut.

She looks just like the pictures, but only has a mild purple colour, very slight. I only let her go seven weeks as I was told that is all she needed. I never checked trichromes so I could be harvesting early. May be that is why she doesn't get as purple as some of the pictures, and also my room is usually on the warm side.

She has rock hard nuggets, is a small yielder and a slow vegger. The taste is the best I have ever had and potency is out of this world. The smell is almost of iceing sugar or almost like the inside creme to an Oreo cookie. She has extremely small hairs and when triggered to bud shows beginning signs sooner than any other plant I have grown - in three days! I'll post a picture of the mother I have. She is still small as I just made a new mother and destroyed the old. I might have some pictures of the buds on my other computer, so I'll look for them also and post them.

So, just by my description does it sound like the same cut? I know it is impossible to tell by just a description, but if my description is the same it will give me a better idea og what I have. Is this the description of a DJ Short Blueberry also? Hopefully the pictures will give more info than the description. Thanks!

Let her go to 9 weeks, and make sure the temps drop below 65. That will get your 'subtle purple' to turn much darker.

Urkle is good ole smoke..Im reading thru to see if JDOG did the comparison but it sure is very PKushy to me also..and ive seen the PK around for a long time..
but this NZJay cat has it goin on..I'm takin mine 10wks on the nose...and it does turn purple even early in my ghetto digs..I had lav hues at 6-7wks and had to pull early due to mold..I have pics but not ul to ICm..either way its good herb

Heres one of my Urkel cuts that I'm testing in a DrBud style cab hope I can figure out my flowering height cuz 2" didn't work out like I wanted so I think I'll need to take bigger cuts and flower them at 5" after a week of veg

Urkle is much better if you let her veg out longer prior to budding. She grows slow but her buds are worth it IMO. There isn't much stretch with her either. Deff some of the better tasting smokes I've had the pleasure to grow.

those urkles was like a year ago in 16 bucket DWC under 4k watts.

these days im taking it easy, and only burning 1200 watts, growing in a bunkbed.
and of course, i still love and grow my Purple Urkle...

Urkle doesn't stretch nearly at all. Longer veg time is a must with her. 3 - 4 more weeks than normal strains...
