I just got a sack of what I was told was grand daddy purple....but the nugs look exactly, and i do mean exactly, like what you have. Perhaps I bought them from you.... :chin:

hey jam i think we buy off the same person because i was told the same thing. i was just gonna say the same shit!!!! the urkle that i was showed was wack, so i thought i swooped up on the grand daddy, or so i thought. i guess he has some urkle and some bc purple. anyhow this grand daddy, i mean urkle is some good stuff. they look dead on like these pics. this urkle stuff is pretty damn good man!

it is a great strain, beautiful color, with potentially never forgotten, great flavour, and an uplifting unique buzz...

Other than that it is bagseed...! haha

People do go needlessly ape for color, but in this case, it is justified. And GDP, as well...

I just smoked some purple urkle recently and really enjoyed the taste and the uplifting high also. So good you end up smoking more then you should and end up super baked! Hmm Tastey!

mmm looks tasty i like the shot with all those nugs....quick question if anyone knows, I'm veggin a purple kush clone right now and i was wondering if i veg it for more than two months will the clones be slow growers or does it matter at all

the clones will still be slow veggers because thats how their mother was. no amount of veg time will change that, at least it hasnt in my experience. :)

Iam glad to see the pics on this tread cause hardly no purple in them....and mine that i just cured is the same and i was disappointed about the lack of purple

PE is a slow ass vegger that's for sure. Mine are midgets compared to other plants that came in at the same time. My bubba mom is about 6x the size of my pe mom.

Sometimes the color doesn't come out unless the temps are cold...summer isn't the most opportune time to run erkle.

Shiit... only if you're commercial and out for the purple bag appeal.

Otherwise, she still tastes and smokes just as good for me, just not a deep in color...

I can't wait to grow out my urkle to compare it to my Sr71 PK.
The SR71 PK is gonna be tough to beat I think.
But urkle is bomb.
I've never had urkle I've grown though.
So it might end up alot better then the Mersh club weed.

yeah, mersh urk growes know how to get it purple and rock hard. rock hard isnt even the right term, its like some slingshot ammo shit. the first pics in this thread are from a personal soil grower. here's some hydro urk (and gdp) grown by a commercial buddy in cali:

not the most purple nug, but the only pic i have of it. it seems like the gdp is easier to get that dark purple color.

Those SR71 pics look more like Grape Ape to me than Urk, although the big dawgs stepped in to say otherwise and I believe them. In my conditions the Urk is more squat, and the GA is a tad stretchier reminding me of the 71...

It's an amazing plant when you do it right yourself man, you won't want to let her go even tho she's a big pain in the ass. Right now I'm juggling Urk, Ape, and Mendo is sitting in the queue. I've let GDP go...

lmao.. slingshot ammo is right!

they both will color up in warm temps if the light intensity is strong enough...not as dark but still some color.
