Hey everyone I'm migrating my grow diary to my new thread "the gender experiment" but obviously the purple buds, if it turns out to be female, will be displayed in the purple strain connoisseur!

Next update will be in The Gender Experiment.

So there's a new level on its top, and its stem is really nice and thick very strong thanks to the humidity tent referred to in The Gender Experiment. Hopefully this experiment will go well! If not then too bad, it's almost winter so this is a good start for the indoor season. fingers crossed for a girl.

There is some deficiency of K as you can see in the purple twigs, but that's not bad and pretty common in young plants.

This is day one of 12/12 after two weeks of 18/4 so we're close to the moment of truth!​

got too represent 4 da purple.[ p.kush] is one of my all time fav n its also one of the most potent strains ive eva smoked.my experience wit purples strains is they r amazing or terrible.the bad ones all taste basically the same wit that boring lavender light grape flav n the special ones r exotic.som of the best haze ive smoked from uptown [p.haze] very similar too hazemist from flyingdutchmen./[purpletrainwreck] exotic high grade.[p.erkel] flavors r quite exotic n the potent high is special.without a question som of the best pot ive smoked include these purple strains.ive always been fascinated wit hearing about p.haze growing up . id lov too see more exotic purple strains available,punta roja ,deep chunk ,mendo purps,p.pakastani.etc

I see this thread slacking a bit so I think we should start a little in house competition, the winner gets 1 K+ from everyone involved.

This is the idea; I name a strain and everyone else goes and gets me the best purple picture of that strain they can find.

At the end of every month the winner will be revealed and rewarded.

I can't take part and everyone will be judging, this isn't anything serious JUST 4 FUN, so anyone who wants to join in can...

The strain for September is an easy one or maybe not but it certainly has had a few purple phenos, it is: "Durban Poison"

This will be finishing on the 30/09/2008​

I know ya'll are probably gettin ill from my sannies pics but I saw this thread and said what the hell, here's some purple for ya with ans ass kicking high to go along ...Killing Fields F2's from Sannie.Every flower from 1st to last was absolutely purple.Smells like a candy shop.Thanks for your patiece and the fun thread, Chaco.

Here's one from Greens, this is a Mighty Freeze and it has a piney smell to it, probably the taste too.

And some kind of Freezeland Double similar strain.

here's some purple work under T5's, veg'd under 200w compact floro... these were beans from NZjay, who has the original Purple Urkle pheno from the west. turned out to be a fantastic indica strain.













i'm still waiting on her sativa-looking sister to finish.











not too purple yet lol hopefully we'll see it come out.

and the best for last, a Grapefruit x Trainwreck strain bred by a good friend, from whom i was lucky enough to receive some beans

whats the deal everybody. i recently got some purple high seeds. i've gone through this entire thread and havent seen anyone growing this strain. i love all the pics and strains in here, but im wondering if anyone has EVER grown purple high.
