Purple People Eater

I'm going to run some old seeds i made back 12 years ago. This is in my top 2 favorite strains i've made so far I've ran it a couple times in the past but it's been a few years & long over due for another run.
I plan on looking for a stand out pheno or 2 to breed with for future projects.
This strain is a hybrid of Lapis Mtn Indica x GDP x Pre 92 Afghani x Purple Urkle. I'm starting just 7 seedlings now & i will start more in about 4-6 weeks & so on until i find what i'm looking for.
I'm already 10 days into veg.

@CosmicGiggle Thanks i thought it was a fun name to go with, I've been breeding my own strains for 20 years now & I find it addicting i definitely have the bug lol

@Mitsuharu I call it that because it purples & its potent eating my brain lol no it just puts me into a deep cloudy euphoric stupor. (heavy Indica)
Although i love all of the phenos here's a few pics of the phenos i'll be looking for & whats to come.

Nice!Me and my boy use to grow a black rose x sour bubble cross that had some green, and all purple pheno’s ,the purple pheno we named purple people eater.It was a dark lavender like purple real pretty,zero green n the buds only the fan leaves which were a snap to trim high bud to leaf ratio,it didn’t yield nothing but the smoke was decent.Funny it was around the time people were shaming purple weed but now that’s all they want

My PPE isn't the best yielder either but potency,smell/taste & over all quality is top notch

Nah,they got seized when the pigs came knocking a couple years back,but I can spot her n veg a mile away.Another one that got away lol,but maybe this east coast will heal my pain idk

@Pineboy212 thats too bad, those buds look very nice love that plum purple color the buds have.
Mine never got quite that purple but will be making a hybrid with a dark purple PCK pheno some time down the road.

Didn't post last week since this is the boring part but i transplanted them into 1 gallon pots & they're looking much happier now.
They are now 5 weeks veg & will probably give them another few weeks then go into flower.

A wise man said a boring garden is a healthy garden,I agree those look great and I can c u have at least three exceptionally vigorous ones the one in the front n the middle internode spacing looks very legit the two tallest ones in the back I can’t c the spacing but the growth looks rapid.Idk the parents structure so I’m kinda giving a general observation . And that Ppe x purple Pck sounds interesting I’m sticking around to c that,yeah my ppe wound ain’t heal

@icon That plant is just unbelievably gorgeous. Can you post any more photos of it? Can you tell us any more about it? How did it come to be? What was its flowering time? How was the potency level compared to others you've tried? How was the yield and aroma? This plant is one of the most visually appealing and genetically intriguing plants I've seen. It's such as shame all we have to enjoy are those old photos so far. I'm DEFINITELY watching this thread.

@Pineboy212 The plants are definitely looking healthy I transplanted them to 2 gallon fabric pots & they really perked up. I do have 3 that stand out a bit in vigor over the others i was thinking they could be male but I believe at least one is female but i need about a week on them to be sure, I put them in flower yesterday.

@Biosystem Thanks I do have more pics but not as pretty i love all of the phenos but not all purple or have a grape soda smell just those two phenos pictured. The others smell have anise, incense, some skunkyness, fruity grape mixed in some with out. It came to be simply thinking crossing two strains i had recently made a Grand Daddy Purple x Afghani ( Lapis Mtn Indica ) with Purple Urkle x Afghani a different kind of Afghani ( pre 92 Afghani ) that i was gifted by a friend was a good idea, I love making my own hybrids & breeding to my liking then testing them to see what the outcome is i find it a lot of fun & been doing it for about 25 years.

The flower time is 8-10 week flower depending on what you prefer I like it heavy so i normally take it to 9+ weeks but can easily be takin at 8 weeks. Potency is quite strong definately above average but not devastating. It starts out a little cloudy & calming with a lot of euphoria then drops you into a very cloudy deep thought inducing stone with a heavy body high that will leave you dosing off for a nap in your chair or couch lol. Great for sleep aid, appetite stimulation, muscle aches/pain, stress & mood.

First the new update I lost one plant to over watering so i now have 6 but i also just started 4 more seedlings that just popped up.
They range from 10-12 inches & just dropped into flower. I dont have a lot of space & i can find what i'm looking for even if they only get close to 2 ft. If i do find what i want i will just reveg cause i dont have the room right now to take clones or top the plants etc.

I can already tell on a couple of plants a slight floral smell when i rub the stems those are the ones i will be keeping my eye on while the others smell afghan dominant of earthy incense but time will tell for sure.
