OK if this isn't the real Purple Kush this will be very anti-climactic.lol

Here are a few pic's of the clone I put into flower a couple weeks ago.
It flowers very fast for just starting the flower cycle.
It started fast after switching to 12/12 too.
Let me know what you all think.
Good or bad.
I started this thread to see if I have the real one.
Mine isn't as branchy as the pic's of the hydro.
But it was barely rooted and was about 4 inches when I put it in the flower room.
It's starting to stink.

Now I can't post any pic's.
What the hell.
Give me a minute.




By the way.
That pic of the top doesn't show it.
But the buds are a lavender color.Even as they first grow.
And the pre flowers are half purple half green.
Ignore that Bubbleberry in the back ground.

Thats what mine smells like too.
I'll know more once it gets going.

What would help me alot.
Is if you could tell me if it grows like a Kush plant.
Because this plant does.
Big thick stock all the way to the top.
In the wind it is very sturdy.
Maybe it's another purple strain.
Definately not an Urkle strain though.

And if it is branchy or not?
This one barely stretched at all.
But there wasn't really any real branches on this clone.
It was a small one.It got no veg time.
As soon as it rooted ,I flowered it.
My mother is starting to branch now.
But it's been topped.

Also does it put on it first flowers real fast and heavy?
As soon as it started flowering.
the top bud just got big fast.
Faster then most all my other strains.

Purple Kush is an indica right?
The way this plant grows is kind of like Bubba Kush.
Except the branches aren't growing all close like the Bubba does.
The branches do more of an out and up thing.
I don't know.

Actually ,I think it's stinkin up my hallway.From my veg room.
You did say it reeks in veg right?
Because for the last week or so.
I've been smelling this dank skunky smell in my hallway.
I thought it was coming from my flower room.
But my buddy was here today.
And since he's not here all the time.
I asked him to find where that smell was coming from.
He followed it to my veg closet.
It's hard for me to tell whats smelling.
Alot of my strains do.
But not like it's been since I got this Purple Kush growing bigger.
So.
We'll see.
I feel good about it.
It was a tiny clone with no veg time.
Remember that.
So it's gonna look a little different.
If thats what is stinkin, like I think it is.
Then ya, I think it's the purple Kush.

hey it looks like a clone ive seen a few people in northern cali with. a friend got it to test it out, some good stuff but not that old school pk that you just cant forget. and yea man that cut stinks in veg. when you get a bigger bush its going to REEEK. specially when it hits half way flowering. the smaller stuff probly wont stink as much. for what i can say that cut likes its root space, ummmmm let it dry out good before you water again, keep the humidity down and temps in the high 70's-mid 80's if possible. hope that helps. it does look a bit stretchy though how close is your light.

yea it will pack them on and get very dense around 4-5 weeks. let it get amber for best stone imo.

the up and out thing seems like the cut as well. itl bush up though give it a few weeks.

Well she's not much to look at now.

I hope this is the same clone.
I'm pretty sure it is.
But you know how these Cali Cannnabis clubs can be.
They say it's one thing.
But it's not the real deal sometimes.
All this dudes other strains are legit.
Just didn't want to get my hopes up on this one.
Because it's so rare.
My Mother collection is getting thick.
And dense with Kush hybrids.
Which I love.
But Purple Kush is one of my favorite smokes.
So far it's a pretty plant too.
I got The pre-98 Bubba Kush.
From Motarebel.
Same one he had.And used for all his crosses.
Pink Kush.
Oguana Kush (Oger's Kush x Herijuana)Motarebel
Purple Cream
Afgooey
Kali Mist
Blue Dot
Sunshine Daydream
and I just popped some Skubba Kush(Bubba Kush x SSSC's Skunk #1),Molokai Frost and Herijuana beans from Motarebel.

Thanks for the help guys.
I'm not getting my hopes up on this one.
But I am looking forward to finding out once it gets going.
It's hard to tell the smell in my flowering room right now.
Because my Pink Kush ,Oguana Kush,Black Bubba and Bubba Kush are all right next to it.
Stinkin up the place too.
With that coffee Kushy smell.
Right now the Black Bubba is reeking the most.
Black Bubba smells like coffee with sugar and cream. lol
The Pink Kush smells like ginger Kush so far.
Oguana Kush smells strong too.
Like lemon fue andl herijuana smelling hash.
Looking at it gets me high. hehehe
I think I'll have a better idea about the Purple Kush in a few weeks.
Any other comments on this cut are welcome.


I got some Star Kush from Motarebel also.
Just popped some Skubba Kush ,Molokai frost and Herijuana.

My PK is very vigerous.
It grows in veg quick.
This is not ussually the case with old clone strains like Purple Kush.
So I'm wondering,those of you with the real one.
Does it grow like most older strains.
Real slow.
Or meduim speed in veg.
Because mine is growing like a newer strain that is rather vigerous.
This will help me identify it,I think.

I just smelled my flowering one.
It's at 2 weeks and is covered in chrystals and smells rather musky more then anything.I've never smelt anything like this.
Can't even describe it really.
It's just a musky Kushy smell.
But an early kush smell.
Not totally coffee like.
We'll see if the Kush smell comes out more in the next couple weeks.
Totally unique smell.

the pk smells like pk, i dont know any other way to put it, if you seriously get down and try to pin it to something its impossible. me and my friends have never been able to say what a kush smells/taste like. so far its just kush, period. some of the fakes smells grapey/skunky with undertones of kush, i could say it does smell like some sort of rotten meat at some points but more kush. overall it smells and taste like the one and only purple kush. if you know it you know it if not oh well. jdog a totally unique smell is what most people say.

I don't think I ever even smoked the real one.
It was never purple.
So that should tell you right there.
But thats what they sell at the clubs.
It's ok.
But it's not real Kushy like I like it to be.
Especially along with the musky Purple smell.

As for the pk i have smoked close to 10 different batches my buddy grew.... The first few from the indoor had the grapey smell... well you could also just say it smells like purple.... Yea the exotic meaty musky smell i get from the outdoor and man does it stink really bad... The outdoor i have gotten reacently doesnt have that grapey smell maybe its just a indoor thing... I will now in time as the pk clone is safe on the east coast have pics just havent uploaded any and dont know if i will yet... But i got the clone and all the smoke from the same dude swerve got his from.... The clone itself in veg is probably the stinkiest veg plant i have same smell as the nugs kinda weird.... i plan to pass her out to a few people on this side of the states just to make sure she is safe over here and i allready know who in my mind im passing her to....
jdog i wouldnt rule that out as the pk yet looks kinda like it but time will tell.....
As for the smoking the pk and it not purple it can still be the purple kush...
HArd to tell if you dont know the smell... But durring the really hot season in cali with 110+ days the outdoor didnt come out that purple same smell and it was done this yr so i will say there is real deal pk nugs with not the same purple as my pics... comparing her to og i think the og is a tad more potent not by much as i smoked og from a few different places.... og just doesnt have the exotic taste and i would say the pk is where the taste is at for a kush... The plant itself looks sativaish but so does the og i think... anyone know the makup of the purple kush? Good luck with your beans from the pk i will be growing some as well that i picked from the clone and they arent s1 the pollen came from me.... within the month i should have another batch i can take pics of and another 5 or so clones i can add to what i allready have so ill bloom some out then but mostly planning on doing this outside or in my greenhouse next season just cause from what i tasted i like her better that way even if she isnt as dense as the indoor.... and swerve buddy one of the pics you posted was from the indoor batch if my memmory serves me right and its out there right now coming back from a long trip.... Now back to what i may call the most important time in my life so far its going to be a real busy month so i wont be back anytime soon... to all my ic buddies time to smoke my last bowl of pk i was saving for someone cause i know i will have more shortly and my mind is thinking tatsy fucking kush.... I will for sure.
It definately has some Kush like qualities.
And the buds are purple so it should be bomb either way.
It has a crazy smell right now in early flower like purple plastic. Very musky.
But my other kushes always smell wierd at the begining of flower anyway.
My Pink Kush smelled like ginger.
Now it smells like Kush.
Soon it will start to smell more like it will in the end.
And I'll have a better idea if it's kush or not.

omfg you are making my mouth water like crazy right now. . . YUMMMMM I've been trying to get a clone of this strain for a year.

I found a seed in a bud from a dispensary and grew it out, and it is straight up some of the finest herb I've ever smoked--and I generally only like to smoke sativas! I still have a mother but it grows deformed because it is a hermaphotic seed. Where is the "clone depot"? How can I get my hands on that strain? Anyways, you definetly have the real PK cause it looks EXACTLY like mine. . . holy shit sorry to be so overboard but that shit really is something special. . .
and that's coming from someone who alreadly has Viper, grapefruit, SD IBL, g13/bw, cotton candy, white buffalo, and ak-47 in my garden. (too many strains. . . )
