Wow MountZionCollec :D

Looks like is being a great season on your side, hope the farm is doing good and your are not too tired of overworking too much.

The Malawi looks great ;) Huge plant with great branching and very solid and resinous colas everywhere. Honestly, i'm surprised the Panama is taking so much, must be an older green pheno of longer flowering time, but this pheno usually provides the more funny and happy effects in the Panama line. The PCK and Taskenti look great as well, wish all the other strains are finishing good too.

Jia You! Keep up the good work and thanks for the updates in late flowering, they are especially appreciated.

I smoke tested that Malawi yesterday afternoon, as well as another trimmer tried it.

The high was very nice and quite powerful. The effect was VERY focused and directed high that was still "clean" and "unheavy", though not "energetic". I am not sure if "dense" is the opposite of "expansive" but if so then the high was slightly dense, not heavy.

Pic 3: close up of furthest along mama Thai, smell is citrus vegetation but light smell
Pic 4: Malawi gold tall one well into flowering, Laos prabang shorter plant just showing pistils
Pic 5 old Congo first plant to enter flowering, resin out to end of leaves smells of leather with all purple buds

Temps are low 40s at night, 60-70 sunny during day with 1-2 rainy days in 50s per week

Harvested the tops on the Ace Panama, citrus cleaner, on 10/24. Has only been drying 7 days, still needs 3-5 days but me and tbe wife are doing an early smoke test.

The results? Best fucking sativa I've ever smoked in my life! 100% clean, VERY energetic almost jittery high no heaviness at all. Both of our faces feel numb, my wife said her face felt tired lol. The wife is writing tags for the trimmers she is super focused said she feels like she is making a piece of art

i too have pink pheno panama in harvest condition, it had that kinda smell, but it toned down a lot in finishing. a sample proved it to be prob strongest i have. different type of energetic high compared to hmong hybrids. green panama i harvested earlier had best taste, like candy bar or ice cream, eneretic bit lighter high. this clearly has long line of superb breeding on it.

This green Panama is also the best tasting plant in the garden, at least it's tied with the PCK. The flavor comes through in the vaporizer very strong. The high does not come on super quick like a Durban poison, but it Has no "limits" and is very expansive and freeing, making a tired farmers body feel orgasmic and motivated! I will probably yield 3-4 pounds I will be keeping for me and my own!

Very excited next year to see how the Panama (lemon incense I believe?)*haze do in my second harvest.

Was the Hmong the Thai bred with the green haze it was that with the purple haze?

Good to hear you are enjoying Panama bro! Its one of my favourite ganja I smoked in 18 years...do you grow Durban from Sensi or Dutch passion?

It's from Dutch passion but i believe both breeders took Sam skunkmans durban poison and crossed it to his skunk #1. I'm not interested in early flowering sativas anymore with the new strategy November-mid December is the harvest dates I'm looking for the absolute best sativa effects! So far that is this Panama, looking forward to getting the terpinoid testing done in a few weeks

That's great to hear MountZionCollec

I'm glad you are starting to enjoy the flowers of your hard work!
Happy that you like the Malawi and especially the Panama, it's always great to hear that it made a difference in your sativa menu.
I'm sure you will enjoy the Panama lemony incensey phenos, you can find great plants from this pheno in Panama Goddess F10 offspring.

Yes, both Haze x Thai hybrids we have released (Purple Haze Thai and Green Haze Thai) were produced using the same Meo/Hmong thai from CBG, only Golden Tiger fem and Double Thai contain Koh Chang Thai.

I'm testing this season a new thai from Chiang Mai and looks promising: classic lemony, woody, spicy thai aromas, must try first after curing to have an overall opinion about this new thai.

Best wishes and enjoy the autumn, sounds like it was a great season at your farm! ;)

Drying room is finally clearing up!

Wow, it's been a long one. Experimented a lot, and fucked up a lot haha but now I know exactly how I'm going to do things moving forward for next year.

I had 3 snow snow storms in November this year soooo

1) I need a hoop house over anything going into November.

2) I need fairly big and healthy plants with large root systems to properly finish budding in November. They get plenty of sun and nice days, but filling out in constant 40 degree nights requires special large healthy ladies. I can just see that the only way to do the double crop with smaller plants is with a partially heated greenhouse keeping the temps above 50 at least or the yield will be low. So it will be one harvest 1/3 late sativas covered by a hoop house and 2/3rds indicas ands hybrids outdoors.

I will still be posting the terpene profiles of the Strains I got to harvest, will post before the New Years.

Two things that made a huge difference in my garden in regards to temp regulation:

The earth is a perfect place to insulate your roots. People don't realize that half of the plant is the roots and insulating them is actualy alot more important then insulating the upper plant. I have a wild nepalese still alive in the ground at 48n at 800ft. She felt her first frost 3 weeks ago and although she is extremely stressed she has almost no frost burn. My lao boy on the other hand that was in a pot and didnt get pulled into the greenhouse is absolutly fried.

Also, mulch. Mulch is one of the most underrated practices in farming imo. It protects from the days heat and nights cold, helps keep water from evaporating (saving you alot of water), and slowly feeds the microherd. You could cover the whole pot in a foot (maximum insulation) of loosly packed hay and they would love it.

With these two steps I would expect a easy 30 percent increase if not more if your organic amendements are dialed. Your microherd will go NUTS leading to happy happy plants that can hold their own in gnarly temps.

Thanks guys :) I'm glad you are enjoying so much the Panama from this season.

You are right MountZionCollec, it's a very good idea to use a greenhouse to make more stable the growing conditions of your outdoor plants from November until March, when the weather is quite unpredictable at our non tropical latitudes, especially at the altitude of your location.

I'm looking forward to know more about the cannabinoid and terpene profiles of the plants that you have grown this season, it's always a very interesting info.

Best regards

Dropping off the samples for Terpinoid analysis on Tuesday. The strains I will be testing are Panama, Pakistan chitral Kush, Malawi, and taskenti.

1) Panama: total terpenes=14.86 milligrams

2) taskenti: total terpenes=11.21

3) PCK: total terpenes: 6.96.......I suspect some CBD which alters the limonene.

4) Malawi- they did not give me my results yet.

The Panama smoke is literally scary jittery, takes a resting heartbeat from 55-60 to 110 after a big bag in the volcano...smoke too much and ur heart hurts. The terpenes limonene and terpinolene (one of haze terpenes) are both energizing and it appears pinene is at least not a "heavy" terpene either. The high is complexly energetic but still clean.
