Thats so sad!..realy..it is.

Why didnt the PS3 girl say; " yeah..but Sony make better adverts" and kick her in the face Tekken style.

I think Wii sux now..after seeing that ad!!

My Xbox360 just took a shit, so it looks like i'll be in the market for another system...that PS3 girl is definately 'large and in charge'.

I haven't played either system yet so I'm still undecided, but I think the Nintendo systems are too cartoony for me (at least they have been in the past), so most likely i'll end up getting the PS3 when I get frustrating dealing with Micro$oft

Wii is okay and looks fun, i just think its aimed at a younger generation. ITs good how you can use the controller and stuff ,but yet its not as powerful as 360/PS3 and isnt even Hd compatable....its actually 720p..whereas the 360 and PS3 are 1080p!!

Its still good and sometimes nintendo bring out serious games, but most of the time its non-serious games like Mario (which is okay), Yoshi and other baby games which i really get tired of quite quickly. Though to be honest im just a HD fan and think thats
the real next-gen! T.Vs are moving on and think the games should too.

Just think...for that extra cash you could be playing Xbox 360 or PS3 online with thousands of people, and if you hav a HD-ready TV then...boy oh boy your lucky, its like playing a movie...amazing shit when your stoned!!

So thats why the Wii doesnt interest me that much, its still probly worth the buy, but it is cheaper for a reason ya kno.

The joke is about the size. the PS3 is "large and in charge" But in the video you couldnt take your eyes off the "Wii" Well maybe you big time vididots that jerk off on your system before you go to bed at night. I thought the stoners around here would get a kick out of the joke. I guess the irony works on a level over the heads of most.

hey ORPotGuy!...it wasnt aimed at you ya kno, were talking bout the ad thing. Yeh i got the joke..i just didnt think it was funny..kinda shit,speaking for myself only.
I thought it was one sided and tried to make sony look crap. Not only that..they tried to make the sony controller look crap too by saying something about how it vibrates, and i like the PS3 controller. Im not having ago at Nintendo, but i think they could promote
better publicity.

Dont get me wrong, i like Wii, its just i cant see me playing it with my friends. We like to chill out smoke and play games , most times(lately) we have a mellow session and take turns at playing Call of Duty 2 (online) or any other game thats on, but i cant see us jumping around like fairies trying to hit things on a screen with the controller like with the Wii. We"r more of chill out..smoke a bit ....take turns on 360..pass joint..watch friend play....toke the joint..pass it on kinda thing, ya kno.

The Wii is good, but to me.. not the best. Maybe ill get into it this summer and end up liking it..i dont know.

But Sony is crap. Every piece of electronics that has a Sony in it has lasted less than 5yrs in active normal use. :(
That's just my exp. Camera, amp, PS1 all just junk now. Cameras repair costs more than a new camera, amp burned so badly that I can only pick some components from it and PS1 just broke down a few months after I sold it back then. Felt like I screwed my friend in that sale.

I never owned one of them cos i didnt really like them, it was only until ps2
came out that i got playin games. Im not a big fan of sony..more a 360 guy, but id have
a PS3/360 over the Wii any day.

Anyway it doesnt matter cos my friends getting one so ill just play his.

I have the 360 and the wii the wii is fun for a family like thing not really great for a serious gamer whos only interest is great graphics, but the zelda on the wii is nice very nice. i also have the 1st xbox which i softmodded and now have just about any nintendo, genesis, super nintendo game u can think of. techmo bowl super mario sonic dig dug metroid. its funny how my 7 year old loves the old games i used to play.

Well, man.
Most of todays games are just too easy, only a few hours of playing and they're done. Most of them are just eye candy. If a game is played in under 20hrs I think it's only half of a game. I've been playing videogames so long I can't even be sure when I started, around 20yrs ago. I just remeber I played Pong with my cousin for the first time and was like WTF, how is this shit possible? That thing is actually moving on the screen when I do this. I'm not sure how young I was, it's only a hazy memory.

I still play NES, Amiga, Atari, Amstrad, C64/128, GBA, Master System, Mega Drive, SNES, x86 games. And I still find gems that I haven't played. We still mess with basic every now and then. It's not all about graphics you know. I'm not saying it's not good to have a supadupa HDbluray 100000000" superscreen, just that it doesn't tickle my pickle. And todays consumer electronics are so poorly made they'll probably break in five years, no way I'm that stupid to pay 1000e/yr+console+games to play a videogame. :D
Take a Hammond organ. Hit it few times with an axe to the sides and it's still in tune, working perfectly. Maybe some nasty dents but it works. Take any piece of todays electronics, drop it from the table and be ready to call up some "Flakes". (Zappa;)

I have a gap to fill in pc games from 98 to today so I'll have to work on those also. Just bought a Sega Dreamcast and have to collect some of it's games like Chuchu Rocket. Talk about mad action with 4 players.
I'm one of the few people that actually gets stressed when I'm having too much games that I want to play but cant for some reason, I'm not bs'n.

When PSxx comes out I might have money to buy PS3 and a tv that supports those graphics. :D
We're moving into digital tv time up here next autumn and we're thinking of staying away from that crap. I read an article in a Finnish computer/technology magazine last summer or so that had many of todays 40+" "hd-ready" tv's and you ain't getting a _good_ one under 3-4ke. And that's just nuts, a 4000euro tv. :pointlaug

It's about money and it's about what you like.
