PS3 VS Wii

Green I didnt take it personal. Just didnt want the thread to be about the systems I wanted to get peoples response to the ad. I know the 360/PS3 blows the graphics of the Wii out of the water. Thats not front page news anymore. I just wanted to share what I thought was really comical. If I want high end graphics I will play on my PC. If I want to have a kick ass time playing some vids I will be playing a wii.

No need to argue. Let all flowers bloom. Even if Wii's graphics are a bit rough that ad is still funny, from both sides.

I play all my games online, so you can never beat the game.

You just run around playing against other people.

Playing against the computer is boring to me after years of playing online against real people.

AI just can't compare to real players.

Man I can't wait for Halo 3 and GTA4 in November.

ZELDA is the reason i am considering even buying any video game system at this time

now this may be a broad statement but...

no game made after nintendo 64 and ps1 has ever struck me in a way that those consoles did.

trying playing Zelda Ocarina of Time or Final fantasy 9.
now THOSE are games.

ya its great how the graphics are getting better but the quality of games has seriously dropped off with the new millenium.

I agree with you ORPotGuy, this is all about the ad, but i still think its a bit crap..no offence to you cos i know you like the Wii, and i do too, its just that they chose an ugly ass girl for ps3 and a sexy ass girl for Wii. Its not the worst ad ever but its a bit geeky for me. I also agree that its not all about HD and more about game play.

These are new consloes and will improve as time goes by...even the Wii of course.

The Wii is good but the ad isnt my taste ya kno.

I was kinda stoned last night when posting, and kept lookin at the top of the page and read "PS3 VS Wii" and i went on that, and didnt really focus on the ad..lol. but yeh..i own a 3600 and ill stick with that, though i like the Wiii too its cool..but the add..couldve been funnier..lol.*lights joint*

Oh i forgot to mention a friend of mine owned a dreamcast and we used to play it all the time..soul caliber the most...frickin freat game!! I thought it was actually better than ps2 at the time, and it was only sonys name that kicked d.c outa the water ya kno...or something like that.

Yeh but the ad, Hmmm couldve been better.

It is only nostalgia that makes people think old video games are better.

Not only do games today have better graphics, they are longer, more in depth etc than ever.

if that was true then why does my nephew like mario and sonic and shit like that more than the first person shooters. theres obviously more just nostalgia, the old games were a lot more fun for some reason. i get bored of grand turismo after like an hour but i can play excite bike all day.

zelda+mario+super smash brothers+ all the old nintendo licenced games downloaded= 800 times better than PS3, and 500 dollars cheaper.
